What happens if we don't complete the campaign?

Hey all, I’m close to 80 and don’t think I’ll complete the entire campaign by then. I’m currently at Azj-Kahet 2/3 and wanted to stop at 80 to do some BGs and PvE.
Should I go back to finish? What happens if I don’t finish it when 80?

I’d finish. It doesn’t take that long; and, you’ll get some good currency and some gear. You can do BGs and other activities when you’re questing.

And, remember, the whole campaign hasn’t been released yet. You’ll probably want to complete the current available content so you can do the new stuff when it gets released.

Is it just for currency and gear? If that’s the case, I don’t think I’ll even bother.

It’s also needed to unlock World Quests and Pathfinder to enable steady flying.

You’ll want to at least complete the campaign quests for each of the four zones. You could defer the Chapters that come after.
