What happened in shadowlands? Don’t care to play the grind fest, but I’m always interested to see how terrible expansions end. Did the jailer just go poof and fizzle out and everything’s good now in shadowlands?
Last I saw, it was just a bunch of dumb god’s that rivaled in power with one dude and only stayed in their zones instead of assisting the players to kill the one big bad dude. This is the equivalent of NOT riding the griffons into mordor btw. Superb storytelling. Made BFA look like a piece of art.

What is funny is how hypocritical you are. You have a lvl 70 classic toon yet call SLs grindy. LMAO HAHAHAHAH. Vanilla and BC were 2304897423890 times more grindy than SLs. If you think SL is grindy then mmos probably aren’t for you.
We all know why you made this thread though. Why not just move on from WoW instead of trying to bash/take jabs at Blizzard/WoW?

Jailer collected all of the infinity stones in an attempt to make everyone his slaves to ward off an oncoming threat that wanted to make everyone it’s slaves. We killed him, though. Didn’t even need any fancy power or anything, we just killed him.

I mean you could have made yourself look stupid without this, but it is nice to have a big red flag.
At least in TBC you actually get tier. This is a slot machine simulator. You grind for little reward in SL, or you grind for tangible progress in TBC.
Get a few upgrades your character feels more powerful there, get a few upgrades in SL raid bots tells me I’m .01 % stronger on hectic add cleave and can’t really feel it.
Such a joke of convoluted addons, a billion weakauras, crappy story telling, and borrowed power that makes you feel like you just wasted your life. All the while making it feel like you’re punching in to start work by forcing you to do things in the game instead of self incentivizing it with fun and meaningful rewards.
Really freaking cool stuff happened in all kinds of things. That’s what happened.

The blood elf vampire was a scheming jerk, shocking I know.
Ysera hatched from a peapod and is happy again.
Tyranda is impotent or some such stupidness.
Slyvannas was sent to the maw to mop the floor because it is super sticky.
Thrall and Baine had a Friends marathon on Netflix and didn’t do much besides eat popcorn and drink some sweet brews.
Jania is pouting for some reason. Think her corset is too tight and making it hard for her to breathe.
Bolvar really needs some god damn lotion. He is making everyone itchy.
Some stagehand from Bastion became the new judge because he failed to get out of the shot before the director called action.
Anduin got possessed by someone and did some not so nice things but He is ok now somehow.
There is a new zone that has water that is evidently revolutionary.

Oh and I got some cool mounts and pets.

You’re kidding, right? I got all my gear in about a month of being 70. I got my reps up to exalted in everything in little than a week, I’m about to get all my badge gear tomorrow as well. In total, I probably put in less than a weeks worth of gameplay.
On retail, I have to spend every single day at least 3-5 hours or I fall behind and it’s not even the grindiness that bothers me, it’s the fact that you end up with little to nothing as far as rewards go. In TBC, you feel those rewards. Way to derail from my original question because your second job sucks.
EDIT: Dang, lots of tilted folks in here. All I asked was “what happens now that the jailer died”? Get trolled, I guess since that was my ulterior motive… or was it? We’ll give you a hint in the next patch, 9.3.5.
