Wotlk servers have been updated to the cataclysm expansion just like how TBC was updated to wrath.

I will be officially cancelling my wow account. If i wanted to play on the post lich king world redesign, I’d play my retail account. I played classic specifically because I loved the old world wow. There is no longer any reason for me to play wow. Cataclysm began the downfall of wow. I have had an account since vanilla. I think we should have a choice. Thanks Blizzard.

Yeah… I thought it was kind odd that I was moved to Cataclysm classic without notice. I wanted to continue playing classic WOW and finish it out.

I have played WOW since before it’s release in 2004, I worked with Blizzard developers on OpenGL extensions and performance issues for nearly a year before it was released… not sure I really like Cataclysm and I surely do not like the current WOW.

if they dont want classic LK servers they could bring back cloning to allow players to stay in the classic era world

I wont be playing classic cata, if you’re someone who’s interested go for it & enjoy it, it’s a been there done that and didnt enjoy it for me.

Wrath was my favorite. I finally had some time off work and I wanted to dedicate some time (finally) to playing Classic Wrath. Sat down tonight to play it and it’s gone! I am so sad and angry. I hated Cata then and I hate it now. We should have had a choice. We are paying them.

I hate that Cata totally changed WoW. is the main reason I wanted to play Classic Wotlk! Getting rid of Wotld and having my characters transferred to Cata servers defeats the purpose entirely of playing on classic servers.

Well bro we all grow up, find other things that occupy our time. No big thing you don’t want to play wow anymore. Just unsubscribe, uninstall wow and move on with your life. Other games are out there. Blizzard won’t be sad you leave, trust me.
