Is there some kind of correlation with sudden jump in price? I know that supply equals demand, and it relates to prices. However, it been very consistent even with the new expansion and not jumped this quickly. Also this also happened in the early morning when less people are on.
I get that youre here in an investigation kick but i mean…
Do you think Blizz is going to come here and answer that question?
And since you know they arent… are you ready for a huge vomitus of speculation?
I normally do all my tokens in the afternoon.
I’m not sure, but supply is correlated with demand and Blizzard controls the correlation - supply does not equal demand.
More people likely using their gold to buy tokens to pre-order DIV.
My thoughts are it has something with Diablo orvthat Microsoft is not buy Blizzard. However, those are guesses.
I dunno aren’t the raids and M+ releasing soon? Maybe people are tokening up to buy stuff before release.
Diablo 4 pre-sale kicked in last night
Yes Diablo 4 pre purchase and WoW mount.
Oh, Yeah I keep forgetting the tokens can be used across different games as I only play WoW.
Diablo IV orders, which includes a new WoW mount.
If they get over 200k I may need to sell some. I’m terrible at making gold.

It went from 160 to 200k in 2 days woot ?
Tokens ran out, people where actually buying tokens and getting refunds sent in the mail because there was literally none, they all got brought up to buy D4 and no, I am not talking crap.
People in the mount discord I am in instantly went to buy 5-6 tokens to convert to Bnet currency to get the game for the mount here.
The prices are driven by demand.
With the new XPAC and the reduction in Gold awards from activities, the demand for gold has gone up (have you looked at the prices of enchants?).
Once the supply of in-game stuff stabilizes and there isn’t a huge rush to gear and stat up for early content FOMO activities, the prices will come down and the tokens will return to their normal levels.
It’s Diablo 4. That’s all.
Last night a million peope (or whatever) bought Diablo 4 with wow gold, so the gold price of wow tokens goes up, incentivizing more people to buy them and cover the cash value of those pre-orders.
Tempting but I’m flush from feeding the new Xpac mats buying frenzy. First character I took into the new zones was a double gatherer and I sold everything that first week.
Microsoft is still buying Activision-Blizzard. The FTC lawsuit is standard procedure and really doesn’t mean anything has changed.
ya they are just going to wring a few concessions out of Microsoft like guarantees the X games will be cross platform for X years. Maybe even agree to sever a few game companies in the name of competition.
At the end of the day it will go through.
What’s funny is that DF comes out and the prices don’t jump up much, but Diablo pre-sales are announced and they skyrocket.
