It’s 3 clicks to bind a button with the default UI… Installation of bartender/updating it every revision or patch sounds far more annoying. Hated raiding with people who used a ton of interface addons, patch day happens or a file gets corrupted “well now I can’t raid now”, that sure doesn’t happen with the classic UI.
It’s not about the number of clicks for me. Its the ease of seeing it all there; visually having the bars/abilities laid out and mousing over, and keybinding as I go is just 1000x easier to me. I guess I am more visual in that regard.
I also find it super easy to clear binds or unbind/rebind, as opposed to the default interface system.
And the twitch client easily handles updates. I don’t find the manual way to update inconvenient, either.
Should never run anything that downloads foreign software automatically to run for your game that isn’t first party imo. And time aside I still can’t see any time savings factored in over default client when it comes to lost time for an addon not being updated/corrupted from a patch. As a long time raider I can’t count the number of hours lost due to people needing to reconfigure their entire interface because they used massive amounts of interface mods. But either way everybody likes something different. I miss the old UI but wouldn’t download an addon to use it. Plus as many others have said it’s been so long it’d probably be jarring to go back to it at this point.
