She just needs the goblins to fix the dark heart, which is something that has happened with goblins since forever. Death wings also had goblin slaves to do his bidding and make his tech. This isn’t something new. Goblins are inventive and geniuses, Xala needs the dark heart fixed, she offers power to Gallywix in exchange of fixing the dark heart.
That is it. You guys complain without actually doing the quest lines and reading the lore bits to find out that the goblins been experimenting with the black blood down there for some time and found different ways to make it inert, with kajamite, and the different properties of it.
And like all strong beings, they know intelligence when they see it and even better when they intelligence can be bought.

TBC had no expansion story.
Legion had hilariously bad story aspects.

All I know is that his sense of feeling betrayed by the other Trade Princes, was heartbreaking. Then Gallywix just vaporize him to send a message. It was a great tone for Goblins, felt “mafia-esque”. Which is dark enough, dark doesnt need to be “I AM MAH SCAAAARZ”.
Considering that Steamwheedle Cartel and Blackwater have operations and bases all over Azeroth, seeing the Trade Princes fear Gallywix really made it clear that there was a huge tone shift within Goblin hierarchy.
The Cartels did not feared the Horde or the Alliance back in the day, and yet they feared this. Was a very solid intro. I want more.

Have you done some of the WQs/jobs? One of them is just you throwing newspapers at them and Goblins screeching at you about makin them read, and I’m pretty sure it’s 100% a dig at the illiterate playerbase XD.

I just found myself not caring at all somewhere along the way in DF and now I don’t really care about the little green gremlins I’m just waiting to turn Gallywix into a loot pinata.
All I know about the story is that there is loot to be had somewhere at the end of it. I’ll be excited when that is allowed to happen next week.

It does feel like that. I swear, I read the same complaints when goblins were working with death wing. This player base hates any race that isn’t an elf, I swear.

Not once was there a complaint about Goblins in this thread. This is you inserting circular reasoning. I have no problem with Goblins, it’s how the story is being told. It’s just not compelling.
