Weren’t they going to release the new race that are something between night elves and trolls simultaneously except also covered in fur or something? I remember a trailer about them and how one patch was going to focus on exploring their zone and stuff.
Or did I hallucinate that?
I’m sure I’ve missed more than a few announcements, but I can’t say I remember hearing anything about this.
I’m leaning in this direction.

nah, you get the embarrassing arathi storyline and then ka’resh. Blizzard doesnt care about haronir, or the rest of the storybeats that were trashed. coreway? manafold? what?
It was maybe around December if not early January but I could be misremembering.
It involved the Troll people you meet when you first enter the spider zone and she runs up and tells you about the red blood the spiders are collecting. I thought they said they were going to be released as a race and we would explore them more.
we did get a new race. its called half elf human and kul tiran lol
We probably won’t get that storyline until sometime during Midnight… it is “the elf expansion” afterall…
It was speculated by many that we would get the Harronir, but nothing was ever confirmed by Blizzard.
Oh so as usual the community just made it up. Damn. I gotta stop listening to yall. Speculation is so dumb, especially without any hard evidence to support it.
Every time humanoid models are data mined with significant variations (that could be used as customizations for example) wow head / content creators / the community generally begin speculating whether it’s a new race.
But you should only take that as it is: Speculation.
I would rather have no race than the Haronir. I would rather have class availability open up to all races (except DH and Evoker) than the Haronir. We don’t need more types that are similar to the ones we already have. We need new fresh playable races.
