What Happened to the MAP and Addons?

After the update, the map is not working right and all the addons.

Addons are third party and need to be updated. As far as the map goes…incompetence?

You do realize that addons need to be updated after each major patch?

The author needs to make a new version of the addon, and you need to install it.

Did both of those things happen?

I disable all the addons, but the map is till not working right.

Can you describe the problem? What, exactly, is wrong?

Did you recently server xfer? People have been saying that the zone maps revert to their undiscovered state when you transfer.

the map in the dfc dungeon is all just a green square last time i did it lol.

maybe its in other places now too?

There are no dungeon maps in classic.

But it should show the world map instead of a green square.

i meant the mini map but i hear it does it to the world map too.

one of my guildies crashes every time they open the map now.

Wonder if they’ll “get around” to fixing this.

If you’re using questie you need to update it from the 10.3 to the 10.4 version.

If you’re having the issue I think you are having (I had a similar map issue), then you need to update your addons.

Patches break them until the addons get updated.

I don’t think ‘this’ is an addon problem:
