My anniv 30 ish quest log is like this.
several quests in STV, orange or red. duskwood…orange or red. Red ridge, orange or red and ashenvale to durotarr region orange.
Southshore has yellows!
So I’ll run southshore till red. then hit STV, duskwood and redridge since they’d be yellow at that point. to clear the close to 20 quests there.
Scaling to me lets walk down the 1 road. Its Nice for coherent story. I have no coherent story in anniv. I had no coherent story in 2019 when I did this the last time either.
Most of classic leveling is reading a guide (or addons like questie) looking for yellow zones.
IMO, many nostalgists are dudes who like power farming. Which I get. I know at level 40 and beyond…defias will be purged. For fabrics, for my tailor/enchanter. No lore, easy mats to craft. then disenchant.
