I didn’t remember leaving the discord server, so I logged into the game and was guildless.
I did a bit of investigating and between Aug 31 and Sep 6, everyone left the guild (probably kicked?) and now everyone is in some new guild called (mostly)
Was there some guild drama or something? The guild was pretty chill from what I could tell 
I’d like to know what happened too. My hordie toons had only been in there for a few weeks, but like you said it seemed like a pretty chill group of players.
Wasn’t it a mass-invite spam guild? I think I got 200 invites to that guild in the past month across various characters. That often ends with g-kicking everyone and stealing the gbank in the wee hours. Not sure if that’s the case here, though – just won’t be shocked if it is!

idk if they were or not, I didn’t really play a lot of retail in the last several months. they were always doing high keys and raids though, so even if they were a mass invite guild they were also a raid guild
There was a fallout within leadership.
He kicked all of us/ dissolved leadership/ dissolved raid/ made sweeping changes only to take 20 mil gold from the guild bank to server transfer him and a couple characters to moonguard alliance where he resides as guild lead of Galactic Gamers. Tldr; traded friends for wow gold, had enough people for 2 raid teams and kicked an entire raid team so he could do it all himself

Just here to comment on how disappoint I am that a toon named Borkenstein is not, in fact, a Worgen Death Knight.

Unless people become aware of it and actions taken to prevent it, there’s reason why they couldn’t make it a habit.
I had absolutely no idea about any of this! Glad I know now so I can keep an eye out and help warn people.
Fun fact, he did in fact this do again on a new server after having those of us who remained and trusted him follow him to a new server. Where he openly bragged about his actions, including the gold he stole.
Shout out to him for at least choosing Moonguard, a lot of us love Moonguard, but thanks to Galactic Gamers/Leadership once again, friendships were lost and innocent people were removed all because he was mad at one person for saying they didn’t like something, me.
