I’ve been wanting to buy this throwing weapon for 3 days now, but it is never in the AH or trade chat. I would always see spam from people selling it just a while ago, now no one. I am on a huge server too…
Did blizzard mess up and make it stop dropping or something?
Firstly, it’s a pretty rare item from rogue pick-pocketing, and supply is bound to be inconsistent.
Secondly, Blizz probably just did a ban wave. There’s a lot of bots that run instances 24/7 pickpocketing endlessly, and they are responsible for the vast majority of the supply. Players don’t tend to use pickpocketing as a primary source of income.
If Blizz does a ban wave, it can take several days for the bots to level replacements. Plus side is you’ll see Spinesever on the AH again pretty soon. Downside it’s because Activision puts next to no effort into combating bots.
