I don’t know if its an add on update but generally it just shows every rare spawn on ur map and turns green if you found it. This expansion i’ll go to one of the spawns on my map, kill it and every red head disappears from my map so I can’t hunt the next one.
is there a way to change it back or has anyone else run into this same issue?
I’m not sure why you’re having that issue, but I’d recommend deleting rare scanner and use silver dragon instead. It’s really clean on the map, and the icons aren’t as huge.
Just make sure to go into the settings and turn off the notification for treasures. A really loud arakkoa squawks and screams “trinkets!!!”. It’s very annoying. But you can turn that one off lol. I just have the notification on for actual rares. Even then I have the sound off and just go by the toast window notification.
I left the sound on for rares that drop mounts though. Illidan yells “you are not prepared” and the screen flashes green for mount rares.
