What happened to Q&A

Last real Q&A was in march and not really much community engagement to answer our questions and concerns on some of the design choices they are currently making.

They did one for Shadowlands during Blizzcon as well, unless you’re just going for the “no true Scotsman” fallacy.

Yeah, the Q&A where Taliesin wouldn’t shut the hell up.

not really for shadow lands more of why they are making some of these weird choices of knee capping people with alts and not making some things about the neck account bound.

Except they didn’t really answer our questions and concerns they answered pre-screened softball questions. Also, ratings were really bad.

yeah that’s kind of my point legion had way more communication between the devs and us, now it’s kind of just not existent.

I love you and your posts!

They will probably have a Q and A soon after 8.3 hits going into 8.3.5. Not much to discuss until the next patch hits/new info for shadowlands is available.

They always do one at BlizzCon, clearly the OP is talking about the semi-regular Q&As they were doing outside of that which abruptly stopped without any explanation. Blizz acknowledged their need to improve communication with the players, started the Q&As in response to that, and then without warning halted all of that and as a result communication has dropped to the lowest it’s been in a very long time.

Prolly because they realized they weren’t accomplishing anything with them. They refused to answer the questions people actually wanted answered and gave long winded Ion the lawyer answers that didn’t actually answer anything to the softballs they did pick. Why keep up the cost of production when no one is happy with the result?

Besides they sort of replaced the Q&As with the patch overview vids they have been doing with Ion and the other guy. That way they can better control the message and not piss people off by ignoring their questions.

The last Q/A crashed and burned. They gave up and retreated to their ivory towers of twitter rather than communicate with us plebs lol. :joy::rofl:

I thought he brought up some insightful and introspective questions.

Like, what will become of my big eyeball head thing that N’zoth gave me? I demand a secret treasure for not cleansing it to this day. That requires dedication. This thing is ruining all my mogs, man.

It is all “softballs”, making it totally worthless.

Was the red shirt guy there?

Yes he was. That’s what made it an official Blizzcon Q&A.

I don’t know why Blizzard hired him. The guy is so pompous in everything he says. lol

60 minutes of Ion answering softball questions with ‘yeah we regret doing that’ (only to keep doing it) while Josh repeats the exact same answer but in his own words and then says 'very cool, ok moving on…"
