My heals don’t move the party’s HP. My mana always runs out first (me with 0 mana and the discpriest with 1700). I just lost all the matches at very low cr. It wasn’t like that last season.
My rotation is Renew Mist > Enveloping Mist > Vivify.

Are you a disc priest? No? Then suck it up and play a mediocre healer. Disc priests are obviously based and redpilled healers while any healer that DARES even get close to their strength will immediately have the community in pitchforks demanding them nerfed until they are utter garbage.
No wonder why they went untouched after a season where they were S tier. Better nerf MW and delete hpals though.

mw in the bgb i was just in was doing 1.42m heals nothing would die soo idk
I literally sat there with full EM/Chi Harm/Zen Orb buffs on my target spamming viv and his hp bar stayed the same, so I just left.
Don’t bother with MW until they activate their healing abilities for PVP, apparently they got deactivated this season.

Hate to say it, but MW monks are like the NY Mets in baseball. They’re just always going to be bad and not “real” healers, because all they bring to the table is healing. Blizz screwed up by making them bring little to no utility compared to every other healer.
Even the goofy dragon has a broken sleep and CC immunity.
It’s like, yay! You got me tickets to the ballgame?!! Where?! Yankee stadium? 
sees Mets tickets …. Oh, you um… shouldn’t have.

The whole game balance is awful which is expected for week 1, but I don’t think it’ll change much throughout the season.
This cc “Song of Chi-Ji” is horrible to land, we barely have any CC to use against the other healer. Meanwhile, we have lizards using “Sleepwalk” all the time, still managing to cast while moving and teleporting all over the arena.
The Disc Priest’s mana also seems infinite.

Priests are insane and they need massive survivability nerfs, their heals are god tier right now. Its worse in rated, especially arena. All you see are priests quing.
Its the DR priests win, everyone else do not.

The worst part is that almost every match has a Disc as the healer. I was at 1650, then I lost until I got to around 1500. I quit the last one because I was fed up, and now I’m at 1400. I went 44/105, by far the worst performance I’ve ever had, considering that all of this was in low CR. I don’t plan on coming back until the end of the season.
Actually, I don’t even know how I got to 1650, it was pure luck. I was in an arena against a Disc that was really bad, and I ended up gaining a lot of points.
It’s not just a Disc thing, most of my healing abilities just feel like cosmetic buttons rn
Mysticall was looking at his healing breakdown, ReM healing was literally his 11th heal. Viv is way down too, I tickle their hp bar with it. Feels like I’m playing with SL ilvl gear.

Okay well this is a weird nitpick with current conditions. Song of Chi-ji has never been a great ability, but it works when you play the right comp.
MW just feels like it’s trying to punch above its weight class in healing, but because it’s not disc it’s like a 14 y/o kid trying to box mike tyson
I think that once full gear starts coming it’ll even out, but it def needs a buff.
Just curious what stats you guys using. I believe mastery is what the choice was last season but I went haste and it’s been great.
I did find myself spamming Viv like it was a pile of crap. Spacing out my cjl helped but priest like… looks around, takes a sip of coffee, casts one spell, kinda walks around admiring the arena scene, then fears. Wins by a mile lol.

I mean unless its fistweaving mw will generally always be the same. You grab a bit of haste to help with GCDs and rest goes into mast

I really enjoy the hybrid playstyle so I hope that works out for MW.
I see alot of comments about fistweaving but I don’t think any MW goes full fister? Not totally sure.
Vivify which is supposed to be a Mistweavers nuke heal, heals for 1 million when health pools are pushing 12 million. If you play Mistweaver in its current state you are a masochist. Meanwhile Holy Pally is still insane esp with Mages

Should I stay hidden or should I risk getting to the healer and trying to CC him? I never understand that.
But it seems that when I stay hidden my mana ALWAYS runs out first, so I have no idea what to do.
Just came here to say, after struggling on MW, I clicked the WW button and got elite set in 4 games.
Game is just getting worse and worse
