Did he get fired? Rage quit? Havent seen him post in over a year.
Fired? Doesn’t look like it.
Kaivax and Bornak seem to be the ones dealing with the forums these days.
Kaivax and Bornakk are the CMs that post if there is a post.
I am sure if Lore was actually gone someone would know and some people would be gloating like mad. Pretty sure he just does other things we dont know about.
Oh no, best believe he’s posted since a year ago. I’m sure we all remember the Azerite armor debacle where he called someone hyperbolic and then compared Azerite farming to AQ fire resistance gear.
That went over well.
Probably best he stops interacting with players/customers anyway.
LMAO really?
Sadly. Was bad juju. Forums were on fire for about a week.
What an absolute madlad; I’m sad I missed it.
Good thing I had my fire resistance gear, I could have ended more charred than a night elf.
He also called customers a certain type of bag on his twitter, shortly after promising better communication.
To be fair he was receiving some irl threats and the statement was directed at them though it was poorly worded.

No one wants to talk to us.
-
Blizzard tends only send folks who are bad at it out to talk to us.
Sort of a modern day version of “The food here is terrible.” “And the portions are so small.” To be fair, it is our own fault no one wants to talk to us. We are kinda the worst.
I’m inclined not to care for that reasoning.
1: That’s an excuse used so often that I doubt it’s validity without proof.
2: Welcome to the internet.
Speak for yourself.
He should have offered an explanation that it wasn’t directed at all of us.
Even then, it’s still bad for someone who’s position is essentially a form of PR.
He is still at Blizzard as far as I know. His Twitter account is still active, though its his personal Twitter account. Many of the managers do have other responsibilities outside of just posting on the forums, and many of the community managers are probably getting ready for Blizzcon, a lot of time is spent in advance of big events. Also there have been a lot of video interviews, and I believe community managers are behind the scenes for a lot of those.
I love how people still misrepresent this and try to sell it.
Hopefully gone, considering his resentment towards the community.
Ythisens made time to talk to with us. /thread
I think he’s the manager over all CMs now, so instead of actively participating in the community, he oversees their daily tasks.
He’s devlore now
