Guy has played a role in basically every expansion and was like the main Character for at least 3 expansions BC, Dreanor, and Legion and he’s always there to be the leader to save azeroth from whatever, so where the heck was he in BfA since this was another expansion about saving Azeroth?
He took a vacation to Karazhan.
the real question is why isn’t he in Heroes of the Storm yet?
He’s not Sylvanas…
Well he said he wasn’t going to be part of the war. I presume since then blizzard forgot he existed, kind of like wrathion and the legion.
I miss Dadghar. Hope we get to see him when we go venturing off to the deadlands.
He moved into an assisted living facility on the outskirts of Stormwind.
What won the Legion xpac for me was Khadgar’s presence to be honest. He’s the reason why I started loving mages in RPGs.
I would like to keep him out of the story for a very long time, he’s super boring.
For some reason they went and decided to make Magmi the Speaker of Azeroth instead of Khadgar who deserves it much more and they basically just replaced and forgot about him I guess…
They wanted to give Khadgar a break since he had been the central guy for two expansions in a row. He deserved a nap at that point. I’m sure he’ll come back eventually, armed with even more powerful puns to slay our future enemies.
He went to Karazhan to find out how to resurrect his husbando Gul’dan since he unfortunately died after Dadghar tried to chase after him for two expansions due to his unwavering affection for Gul’damn
Hes stewing in Karazan likely as a new upcoming threat some time in the future.
Creatures like Khadgar don’t get to hide for long.
from the very reveal of bfa’s premise, i was horrifically displeased.
everything khadgar said in his farewell speech is everything i felt. i wanted nothing more than to just remain the leader of my class hall, tell the horde and alliance to F(with the hardest of tone) off, and just do what needed to actually be done.
it’s a shame that khadgar just got left behind and forgotten. he was working with magni, yet they ditch him for wrathion. don’t get me wrong, it’s good wrathion came back, was a shame to just throw the character away. but wrathion got his idea for a treatment for the black dragon’s madness from karazhan… where khadgar was supposed to be.
it was wrong. all this expansion was wrong, and so was losing khadgar.
So Khadgar thought that given the Horde & Alliance are just fighting - yet many heroes on both sides are making efforts to heal the planet: All would be fine, he can finally rest after his vigil against the Legion.
So he went afk & took a massive bender.
Nek minute when he wakes up with the munchies about to conjure himself a sandwich - he sees through the window at the broken sky, with the enticing shattered veil between life & death:
" {Sigh} … Now I know why Medivh left."
Khadgar’s really the only Alliance character I’ve given a Stormwind rat’s a-- about.
He’s inspiring which unsettles me.
Get rid of Jaina gimme dad back
Khadgar is one of the few NPCs that I loved and trusted seeing in each expacs. He was there for all the people and for Azeroth.
Khadgar was ahead of the curve, and unsubbed from WoW before BFA launched.
