The only reason Nvidia can get away with that is because they have no competition on the high end.
If you want an entry level GPU that’s affordable though, Intel has now taken over that market since noone else has any interest in it.

inflation, chip shortage, demand and tariffs all contributed toward the insane spike in almost all hardward
I was so happy when the NVIDIA share price tanked after Deepseek blew them up. Then the guy behind openai had the audacity to get upset that Deepseek stole his data that he in turn, stole from all of us.
It’s thieves all the way down in the AI bros world.

Not so sure their claims are very realistic… or not lies. But it comes from China, and trust what ever you like I guess.
Chances are it’s a disinformation campaign associated with their lust for Taiwan. But I’d have to look into it more.

may i please know whats the best card for WoW, that you would recommend right now?
If you’re only gonna play wow? Probably anything in the 20 series for nvidia cards would suffice. My 1080ti still plays wow more or less fine on max settings. I’ll get frame rate stutters/dips now and then depending on what’s happening in game. But 95% of the time it plays it perfectly fine.

I buy what will run wow optimally. You dont need to break the bank for a graphics card on games. Those $6k ones are name brand or way more than what you need unless your crypto mining?
PowerColor Red Dragon AMD Radeon™ RX 6800 XT was great. Though seems unavailable now. Hm… but $450 and has ray tracing. Played Cyberpunk top graphics no issue.
