the world used to be overflowing with players and it felt amazing … I rarely see anyone anymore wtf happened?
is there something wrong with the layers?

This. They stopped closing layers due to issues with Ashenvale.
So now if peak hours need 10 layers, there will still be 10 layers at 4 am instead of dynamically reducing to current population.

Crossroads was completely dead last night on crusader strike. Not a single person around at all.
Ashenvale event is taking 6 hours now.
they broke the game on a friday and went home

tbh, its been nice while leveling a mage so i can round things up, mark something with living flame and break my arcane explosion key. however, i really cant say thats a long term positive.
they just reverted the change. its back to normal now.
Which is great for late night farmers. Though it does make the world have that dead feeling which hopefully people dont decide the game is dead and stop playing themselves lul
