Maintenance updates are not showing up in chat anymore. I just kicks you off and says you have been disconnected.
There was a small frame on the character menu screen and an in-game server count down when I logged in. The sever countdown was at 30 seconds and the frame said it was from 7-8am PDT, one hour. Hotfixes. WowHead has a Blue Tracker.

Achievements
Players will now earn the achievements Harbinger of the Weathered, Harbinger of the Carved, and Harbinger of the Runed immediately upon outgrowing the use of those crests.
