Yeah title says it. What happen to the good raiders. Modern raiding is the easiest its ever been and yet more addons. Yikes

They either retired or left before the move to Las Vegas Oakland Raiders were one of the best teams.

Add-ons tend to actually make you worse at the game because stuff like DBM becomes a crutch.

To use an FFXIV example it’s not quite the difference between someone who blatantly abuses cactbot to play the game near-perfect and when that bot isn’t usable because the content is too new, but it is worse than the person who just learns to play WoW normally.

Define “good raiders” – is that just the guilds with the highest count of CE/HoF entries?

I guess we are at the point in the evening where people that dont do anything in game try to talk about how others that do…are actually bad at the game.

I don’t even know where to start with most of you. Glad some understood. No troll. Pretty sure I’ve raided more then most on this thread in a year alone. but that is not what this is about. coming back to the game and seeing this community. Prime example decent of the responders. No you don’t need addons to play sorry to burst your bubbles. And yes DBM only during guild leading time to keep track of certain healers and or dps(mostly healers). forgot who had said dbm. BUT I digress. this forum has enlightened me to where they went. Carry on with the addons. And remember you might learn the game without them. It’s made that way. Crazy talk

See the issue? Every form of entertainment these days is 6 seconds long, 200 characters or less. Nobody has the will to keep attention 100% for a 30 minute boss fight they might have to do again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again…

Those raiders have left. Addons are mostly useless imo since most of the time other players dont even listen to what the addon is telling them because they’re too focused on rotation. This is raiding now.
