can we still earn crest from bosses and can upgrade gear we got from that raid ?

because i want the lock transmog of M but it i want to know if gonna be easier the next patch or harder since we may not be able to upgrade gear from H to M appareance

No, after the season ends all S1 gear will no longer be upgradeable and all 4 crest types for the season will be removed from the game.
Season 2 will have new crests for that season’s gear.

Correct, when a season ends all the crests are removed and the gear is no longer upgradeable. Blizzard doesn’t want people getting confused by their stupidly named crests by having more than 1 season’s worth in the game at a time.
Yes, the best way to get the mythic appearances are to either Mythic Raid/ M+10s or upgrading heroic track gear to 5/6 Hero.
On the plus side, you’ll be able to catalyze Season 1 gear infinitely once Season 2 starts.
If you’re still missing tier appearances, try to get catalyzable items at the right item level now, and you’ll be able to turn them all into tier pieces come 11.1
Why would you want to upgrade S1 gear in S2? Just get S2 gear, it’ll be stronger.
