I want class halls/campaigns back. It is the feature that will make or break my 10.0 hype. I loved them in Legion, i played almost every class just for the artifacts/campaigns. It was strange, because, even if the endgame content was the same, the feel of playing other class was totally different. I don’t have the same feel with the covenants.
- Tier sets
- ACTUAL Legendaries (100k+ craftable items that are more common that Rare gear, where everyone and their grandma’s have it, are not “Legendary”)
I want expansion features/class design to stop.
I want classes, tier sets, crafting, M+ vendor, PvP vendor, done. No temporary systems,
Add a dungeon and raid and battleground and arena aura for balancing.
Have Group, Will Travel
Everything class-based. I loved Legion for that. I even loved the older games for that, even if the quests sucked (like getting water form for druids) but having class flavor in the game matters to me, and it absolutely sucked when Ion took it away for BFA.
Player agency.
Professions that matter and can be used for prog equipment. Even traded to other players.
Alts not requiring days of catch-up grinding on a system to be playable, outside of gear.
The complete and total destruction of 'borrowed power systems like artifacts, azerite and covenants.
More world content. MoP had tons of this, we’ve only been losing since.
Player Housing
- flying from the start, no more of this arbitrary waiting for almost a year crap
- tier sets back
- no more gimmicky expansion borrowed powers, including any kind of AP grind and legendaries
- No more Nephalim Rift rip-offs (Visions, Boreghast). See also: borrowed powers
- Reforging. Getting rid of this should never have been a thing.
Gear customisation. Not tacked on half baked systems, bring back reforging, bring back 3 gem sockets armor, bring back meaningful enchants etc… An heavily ironed out version of the Domination Shard system (with acquisition not bound by RNG) could also be fun.
How about the devs stop the idiotic design philosophy of scrapping EVERYTHING from the previous expansion and create some NEW over thought system (Ion… stick to encounter design).
Warcraft is basically a compartmentalized game per each expansion… and that is stupid.
Class halls, On-going BGs such as Ashran. PvP zones, and Mage Towers. There’s a lot of things I want back it’s just too much work to type them all.
Tier sets.
I really like the focus on class stuff in Legion.
Sockets.
Enchants.
New talents.
New ranged class.
Better Crafting.
New allied races.
More character customisation.
I haven’t played the game since last November and I really don’t know if I am going to come back at all this expansion. Everyone in my guild quit around the same time and none of them are interested in coming back right now either (we’re trying out FF14.) I do know though that if next expansion isn’t good I’ll most likely be done with WoW. They need another MoP or Legion. No more borrowed power. It’s time to move on and come up with new ideas.
Assuming we get class sets back in 9.2, as we were told, then Wrath era glyphs. Minor, major and prime glyphs. Mmmm.
Honestly, I don’t want Class Orders to come back. Why? I felt it homogeneized classes instead of adding variety. Just think how out of place Tauren Pallys felt on the Paladin Class Hall. Or imagine how Zandalari Paladins and Druids will fit on their respective Halls.
Let every race have their own class questlines. That’s what I want back. Make Trainers useful again.
-Burst of Speed
I don’t care if it doesn’t benefit others, this is the only thing I want.
Remove the wow token
Fix pvp
Make professions actually mean something
Character development ( limit barrowed power )
Bring talents back and weapon skills.
Remove the obvious timegating and bring back the rep grind.
Minimize the complexity of systems and just make a good game with a good story
More glyphs/old ones removed restored…
A fun reason to log in.
gasp
Race halls…
Progressive expansions over seasonal ones.
