Dear Folks,
I was unable to find out the answer to this question. What are the expansions included in WoW Classic? My guess is WoW Vanilla, TBC, Wrath and Cataclysm. Is that right?
If Cataclysm is the last expansion of WoW Classic, then what happens if WoW Classic Cataclysm ends? Will the entire WoW Classic end?
They are going to keep going till they stop making money.
The Classic Time period was up until they changed combat and talents with Mists. I think they’ll keep making Classic games even past that though.
But what if they make it past Mist? If they make it past SL, then it wouldn’t be called WoW Classic?
I think the Classic period is like the golden age for WoW. Classic as Blizzard sees it is simply “what it was originally” so people can experience how it was when it was current.
What expansions were covered in Golden Age of WoW?
Warlords brought things down so I think the golden age ended there. Everything before was in the golden age.
So WoD will be the last expansion of WoW Classic?
Current classic has covered Vanilla, TBC, and Wrath.
Where that should end is not stated, and purely subjective to the user and Blizzard.
Imo even including cata in Classic is a bit of a stretch. Going into mop with classic would a bit weird.
But if they did, I might put some serious time into mop classic, just to relive og brewmaster and demolock with dark apotheosis.
WoW Classic is included with WoW Classic.
My opinion would be that “classic” ends with Wrath because after that the world map and questlines changed dramatically.
