Given the coming prepatch and revamped leveling system, what expansion will you level in and for what reason(s)?

I’ll probably just alternate between expansions each time I’m leveling a new alt since doing the same quests could get tired pretty quickly.
That being said the ones I’m sure I’d level in more often is Warlords of Draenor when doing Horde characters and Mists of Pandaria when doing Ally characters. Warlords of Draenor is just a lot of fun to level in, and the story lines there are quite a blast to go through and they can really hold my attention. Mists of Pandaria because I like Pandaria, the quests aren’t the most fun to me but the lore is interesting and the setting is pretty enough to hold my attention for long periods lol

Anywhere but WoD.
I suspect Pandaria is going to be the most popular just for the visuals and atmosphere. And I’m not saying that because I’m a Panda babe.

Warlords will most likely be the go to, even with its XP nerfs. There’s actually a lot of surprising elements that they put into the leveling experience that has kind of been missing with Legion and BfA. There’s a lot of interesting minor details, and the leveling overhaul helped it out a lot. Plus each zone having unique things with the building you choose is cool (mounted combat in Nagrand being a standout, along with the inn in Spires of Arak). There’s also a lot of interesting lore beyond the time travel crap if you’re interested in orcs, Draenei, arakkoa, etc

This one. I just hit 120 a few days ago.
I guess it depends on the character. My mah’gar will go through WoD, my DK through WotLK, dark iron will be all over the place as I’m going through all dwarf focused zones, etc.

Probably Mists. It’s one of my favorite expansions and I haven’t been through the zones in a good while.
Probably Pandaria.
Despite loving MoP, I’ve never finished the bloody place. Would be nice to get Loremaster at-level.

Anything Pandaria or up. The Newer expansions have always been a fun leveling experience and I already plan on multiple characters, it would be great to level each one in a different expac to experience it fully.
WoTLK > TBC > MoP

This. It really will depend on the character for me. I want my leveling experience to fit the aesthetic, story, and feel of the character I’m playing if possible.

If I start a new character, probably through either Northrend or Pandaria. I like the story arcs in both of those areas, so they seem like they’d be perfect.
Unfortunately, as someone has stated earlier… Treasure-hunting and bonus objective zones are just too powerful to ignore or not do. MoP and Warlords will likely see a lot of traffic for these reasons. I suspect wrath is a follow up due to its popularity… BC Zones were never that good due to the nature of how some of the quests worked.
Actually, Warlords despite the nerf is still the fastest from what I’ve read. COULD BE WRONG, So take with a grain of salt.
First go will be Wrath I think, get all caught up again before Shadowlands on in-game Lich King lore, then alternating around between MoP, BC, and WoD.
Very excited for this idea on leveling, even as long-time player the leveling felt so fragmented and awkward.
WoD. Not because of its fastest exp. But because of it is the most enjoyable place to level in. I have still yet to experience every zone there.
