With Shadowlands the new leveling ‘thing’ will be 1-10 on the new island thingy and then pick an expansion for 10-50.
What are you going to level in?
Mine are a little dependant on a few things (namely, how they handle flying in old expansions with the new system) but ignoring those little bits…
My plan is to level up the few classes I haven’t taken to cap yet through the new experience, except for Shaman, I’m gonna finish shaman before SL.
My first leaning is to do Legion because the class hall quests and I wouldn’t mind getting some class mounts but if I don’t just do legion for everyone I’ll probably do:
Warlock: Legion, because demons.
Warrior: WoD because it’s the expansion I played the least and wanna give it a fair shake.
Priest: MoP because I’m considering panda for my priest.
Rogue: Cata/Vanilla

With great hopes that all zones (including currently 30-60 zones {staring at Burning Steppes}) are scaled all the way down to 10, I’ll be leveling in Eastern Plaguelands, Winterspring, Northrend and Legion zones. Because ‘Death Knights’

I’ll do most of them, keep things varied and change it up. The one thing I am certain of is I’ll never set foot in Outland or Northrend again for leveling. Free at last!

if you’re gonna level a deathknight unless you specifically want to start at lvl 1, I’d make it now. You’l start at 58 now, which will scale down when the squish happens, if you roll it after launch, it’ll start at level 1. (unless it’s an allied race, then it’ll start at 10)
Vanilla. Just to see how it’s different to classic in SL.

Don’t kid yourself, you will have to be in the new zones to get best exp other how could they call the expac a success.

MoP, WoD, and Legion will be the 1st 3 since I missed those expansions. WotLK will probably be my go to though.

I’ll most likely level through Pandaria. On my way to level this lady I ended up missing out on most of the quests there, and it’s one of the few expansions I feel compelled to see the entire story.
Although I do have the attention span of a gnat when it comes to zones (I tend to bounce around a lot). We’ll just have to see. 
I have enough Death Knights (the class). The leveling pattern is for Death Knights (the theme). Works best for paladins whose purpose is to eliminate the scourge (or to be corrupted by it)

I plan to level in the Shadowland expansion.
I’ll probably mix it up, if we can. Some wrath, some MoP, some Legion.
Pandaria, Legion, or WoD.
Yeah, WoD. It’s not a great expansion, but the leveling experience is pretty nice.

Are you saying we have to level our toons all over again from 1 to 50?
Just newly created characters. Current characters (your 120, for example) will be in content relative to their scaled level. 120s will be ready for Shadowlands Content and start at level 50. Brand New non-allied race characters will start at 1, and ARs will begin at 10.
My current max level guys will be doing the Shadowlands zones. But I’ll have a go at several different alts in each of the 10-50 expansions. I mean, why not?
