Do you got into wow mid expansion or did you started right at the release of a new one? And how was that for you?

Yes I do. It was the tail end of Wrath, and a couple months before Cata. I don’t remember much about either one then; I’ve just enjoyed each expansion, mainly since.

Because people judge the game as a whole when they play it for the first time, but later most limit themselves to a certain type of content. For example, someone might only play arena, and if the arena isn’t that good in a particular expansion, they conclude that the expansion is bad.

I joined around mid-late Wrath. I remember I was still leveling (my mage was somewhere in the late 30s) when the Call of the Crusade patch was added. Can’t say I really enjoyed Cataclysm after Wrath all that much. It was a rough time for me.

WOTLK.

I played in vanilla, didn’t care for it because of how bad combat felt. Same with TBC but did get to max level on a private server (boosted exp) and came back in WOTLK and been here the majority of the time since.
