What exactly is the Void Elf racial change for Entropic Embrace?

In 11.0.7 patch notes:

“Entropic Embrace: Proc activation rate adjusted, now increases healing and damage by 5% for 12 seconds (was duplicate healing/damage). Now functions with absorbs.”

What does “was duplicate healing/damage” mean? Like, it was actually 10% before, even though the tooltip has always said 5?

Current version does 5% of your damage as Shadowfrost damage.

The new version just increases your damage by 5%.

Ah, thank you. The word “duplicate” was throwing me off here.
