What exactly does the enhanced level 70 character boost give?

The website mentioned that the “enhanced” level 70 character boost gives “upgraded year, reputation progress, and more to prepare you for your adventures in the depths of the world”.

Anyone that’s redeemed this boost, please tell us exactly what it gave you. Thank you.

Also, a side note. I noticed they upgraded the level 60 character boost to a level 70 character boost in the shop.

424 Item level
5000 Dragon Isles Supplies
Rank 12 with Loam, rank 20 with the other factions.
You get put at the flightmaster in Valdrakken.

I think thats it, can’t see anything else.

That’s actually really good. Especially the level 20 renown with the other factions.

Oh and also the boost bags, which were 30 slot bags plus a reagent pouch, also 5000 gold and off spec items, so some one handers and a shield for prot.

Boosted a warrior because warrior

That feeling when boosted characters will be ahead of you. :smiling_face_with_tear:
But eh, I guess I’ve not really played a whole lot.

I wonder what I’ll boost. Hmm, something to think about.

I have played a lot and boosted character’s will be ahead of me except in ilvl. The cost of M+ i guess.

If you have a capped rep toon already it takes no time to get a new toon to level 20 rep.

I wonder if this will hurt Blizzard. There really is zero point buying the Heroic. People would only go Normal or Epic.

I will go Normal and wait for Epic to be 50% off, like I always do, but would anyone here buy Heroic?

If I use this boost on my Human or Goblin, will I be locked out of the heritage quests? Only asking cause I know it’s locks you out on allied races.

core races can be race changed and still do the quest you are good
so boost away

Awesome, time to flip a coin on which to boost.

Landed on Human so now I have another max level plate character to farm Garrosh with for tusks.

Nah that’s useless. Now we don’t need renown for anything, particularly more with the gear it gives. Everybody else that’s been playing will supply you with crafting orders. No player power from renown itself.

Conspiracy theorist in me wonders if this is why they had the renown requirement for Pathfinder, have that, then introduce new expansion, with a boost that takes care of all but 2 and puts you so close with one you would get it with doing the 10.1 storyline.

Create a point of friction, then sell a solution, and get a guaranteed pre-order at the same time, all while hopefully allowing Blizz to brag about breaking sales records again.

Can the gear obtained from the level 70 “enhanced” boost go through the catalyst and be converted to tier?

With the xmog changes coming you can farm them on any armor class i.e., mage, hunter rogue and still be able to add them to your xmog library.

Although there seems to be a glitch with it right off the bat. I boosted my DK with the ‘enhanced boost’ and got 20 renown on the 4 main factions… BUT I cannot purchase any of the dragonriding mount skins.

Dragonscale Expedition for example has a bunch of dragon glyphs purchasable at renown 9 and 19 but when I try to buy them it says “Requires Renown [#] with Dragonscale Expedition by a character on this account”.

Anyone know what happens if you buy a 70 boost outright on the shop? Is it the same result as the preorder boost?

Is that 424 gear able to be used at the catalyst to turn into a Teir set? That would be pretty funny
