Higher rewards? Blizz would need to increase the difficulty of delves if you want higher rewards, but you know there would be too much backlash if they make delves too difficult. If you want Hero gear from a delve, without a map, Blizz would need to scale it to around +8 or heroic raid difficulty. In both cases I’m just imagining an increase in mob health and damage to the point they one shot solo runners if they don’t know how to play their class. Which, of course, will get backlash from the super casual playerbase because super casuals are what delves are for
They already have difficulty levels above the reward level. They could easily add another track of gear. But also fine, add more difficulty tiers as well. Why not? More stuff to do, and it’s all relative to your item level anyway.
I think the gear from delves and delve vault is fine and hope it remains the same in S2. I wouldn’t mind a bit more exploration in delves. Not “mandatory” exploration but maybe it rewards some mogs or a currency you can spend at a mog vendor.

So they would need to add a Myth track than? If they do that they would need to make a tier scaled to +10 difficulty. If they don’t than that is just easy Myth gear and we all know Blizz doesn’t like just handing out the highest lvl of gear. Making a delve tier be +10 difficulty is just going to be negatively received because you know people will just be like “ delves shouldn’t be this hard. This isn’t M+, I don’t want M+ in my casual content “
I go into every delve with the same goal. Make a friend. But there are never any in there. So my search continues.
Delves are fine. They fill the gap between normal raids and heroic raids for me. It is lovely never touching m+
I simply want M+ to leave Delves alone, period, no more, no less.
They already go up to 11.
+10 key difficulty. Not +10 delve tier difficulty
This is what I want…
- More variety… though I am sure this will come over time.
- Optional exploration.
- New puzzles and mini games.
- More variety on the treasure powers.
- New enemies.
- Delve retcons into older content to be used while leveling.
Rewards seem fine for delve content. But they could probably make more cosmetics available in them.
Really tired of M+ players talking down about delves. The highest reward you can get in a delve (without a map) is 603 champion. You have to run 8 delves in a week to get a guaranteed shot at a single piece of hero track gear. And that’s it. Everything stops at D8, with the rewards not scaling for the increase in difficulty from 8-11.
You M+ whiners have your gear options, which are far better than delves, and no one is coming after you. Stay in your cry baby lane and leave others alone. M+ is not the only content in WoW that should get gear or cool rewards.
Same when they can get Mythic track and delves cannot.
Well, look at it like this. They are mad and most likely posting while waiting to not get into an M+.
On top of that, you are most likely in a Delve when they do it.
I think it’s fodder for finger pointing and laughter.

That’s no justification for the constant bashing of delves and those that enjoy them. It’s more of that rampant toxicity that exists in the M+ sub-community of WoW. It’s why me and none of my friends will ever pug M+ and honestly, given how the attitude has proliferated throughout “pug” WoW, I’ll never pug anything else.
I’m not saying delves shouldn’t reward higher gear. I’m saying if people want higher gear from delves than you should expect a difficulty increase in delves. A difficulty increase that most people would hate because delves are casual content

I like delves and I like the solo option to get some decent gear without having to do mythics and ruin a run or have it ruined by someone bailing. I did think at first it would have been a way into mythic content by gearing up but realized when I tried mythics I lacked experience in dungeons where repeating delves has made them seem easier.
I now want from follower dungeons scaling that delves have at least up to mythic +6 difficulty so I can gear in hero and learn what to expect, and practice at that difficulty any specialization all my toons have.
Going above D8 is a serious difficulty increase as it not only means higher health from enemies and damage from them, you get what are equivalent to M+ affixes in added situations and mobs that must be dealt with.
You spelled SOLO wrong. Delves are meant for people that like to play solo, while still being open to groups. There’s nothing casual about anything above D8. But more to the point, with the max gear coming from a delve (with no map) being 603 Champion, it would seem there’s plenty of room to go up without any change to the 9-11 difficulties.
I don’t know where you’re getting that idea from. Casual doesn’t mean not difficult. Some of us are doing delves the whole season, maxing out all the difficulties, earning all the achievements. And just like M+ it’s all relative. You get better gear, you can do higher difficulty which rewards better gear, and so on.
