I’ve heard the cosmetics are time gated for some insane reason. Can you get any gear this week? If so what ilvl?

Sounds like it’s another botched release. Not sure why it’s a drip drip time gated release of content we have already done. If it wasn’t for the head enchant I wouldn’t touch it. Once I get my bis enchant I’ll be one and done and that’s the reason they are time gating it.

Same, exact same. Which also means less player retention because i will be engaging far less with wow till timegatres are over.
Kinda wish we could organize a player strike. Cancel all subs for a week and see how fast they stop this crap

So you can’t even get a piece of gear this week?
you can get the head enchant from quest.
An optional, ~1% buff that is only useful this season isn’t worth quitting over.

It’s very funny that this “content” is recycled slop, but we’re also all very mad it’s timegated.

i just dont understand the reasoning to time gate something thats already been time gated to launch 4 weeks after patch dropped
HVs are literally here for fun… but all the cosmetic rewards are locked behind 3+ weeks of hourglass upgrades
Sure, some vet/champ/hero track weapons for alts… basically useless since most of us craft weps. And a 2-4% helm enchant… cool
The reason to run these is essentially for fun & for cosmetics
SO WHY ARE WE TIMEGATING COSMETICS IN A REFURBISHED EVENT 4-7 WEEKS INTO A .5 PATCH?!?!?
If someone wants to binge dozens of Visions and unlock everything this week, why not let them?!?!? I guarantee those players are going to stay subbed regardless, this arbitrary time gating is total nonsense and has no impact on sub retention.

Is it only veteran gear you can get from visions?
Up to like a 658 upgraded hero gear.
Doesn’t seem like Gilded Crests will be on farm yet. 
This week, well, so far I got a pet parrot. I might have got a piece of V gear, but I don’t remember.
Doesn’t mean it’s not worth grinding, per se, as far as I can tell.
You still need currency for the vision powers, and you can still get them. The last vision power was 500. So I don’t know if the next 3 will be 700, 900, and 1100.
You also can grind out those black bloods.
It’s also good to run through them to learn the layouts and understand the events.
Finally, there’s Tribute things in the main chamber – no idea what those are, but you can certainly progress on those.
So, even though it’s time gate, it’s not that there’s nothing to do.
I’m going to finish the bloods thing this week and gather up 3000 currency. Figure that should get me ready for next week.
