For the hamsters that run these servers. Little guys don’t seem to get much of the share and get burnt out on the wheel. (Rip AH Hamsters…)
Every single TBC pserver was bugged to high heavens.
They sold way more stuff in game stores, and still had faction imbalance issues. Servers that offered:
free respecs and mounts for alliance
Seal of blood for alliance
free bags for alliance
free horde to alliance faction change
tended to have a slightly better alliance:horde balance but it still often favoured horde.
Stop it with the lies about these pservers, they were all imbalanced, bugged, and corrupt.

You can water walk to Isle of Quel’Danas and there is a vendor there that sells S1 gear for honor.
I know that isle has that vendor, but you can actually access it? ROFL

If it is indeed that terrible for you, you should leave and not come back. I don’t think anyone is making you stay. I am having fun but I can’t speak for everyone.

You ungrateful dude. Go live in California working for free and see if you survive. You think for some reason blizzard owes you something. I am tired of people feeling entitled of things. If you don’t enjoy the product , go away , it’s free market. But instead you are being a “karen”. Go be in a private server which is “free” using someone else’s code and game, go become a thief. I am paying my sub so people can work, have a salary, grow their family and have benefits.
Despite all my complaining about Que times, I am having fun, and would like to play alts. Problem is I have a guild Horde side that I already Co-GM and is decent sized that we started before pre-patch with friends. So just up and going Alliance would mean starting over for me. Only issue I have is not being able to just spam bgs. It’s not even about the gear, just about even playing them.
Im not saying they werent bugged, imbalanced and corrupt. But they were FREE with similar issues to a billion dollar company. That is the issue here. How are they even comparable? That would be like if a 1993 camry had the same specs as some 2020 lamborghini. We are paying for a superior product so where is the superior product cause this feels alot like a private server… worse in alot of ways.
Blizzard servers are nowhere near as bad as the pservers. You had a day with some weird disconnect issues oh no!
Much of what you’re complaining about are player created problems, Blizzard cannot force players to reroll because you don’t like the faction imbalance.

The game is running fine on my end.
From what I understand, the private servers were far from perfect. Sounds like rose-tinted glasses, to me.

Bro, were literally PAYING for a service.
At least the sub provides retail and classic options.
I also predict a merger of Activision Subsidiaries with a major player.
Either way, morale is justifiably low these days, which is a bit of a surprise since TBC had such high expectations. The TBC launch pales in relation to Classic Vanilla on many levels. People seem to be quitting faster than after p1.

You’re paying for access. If you didn’t pay, you wouldn’t have access. If you do, you have access. From there, you decide if it’s worth continuing to pay for access or not. It’s not a service, Blizzard doesn’t serve you.
