I remember meeting him at BlizzCon on several different occasions. He was always incredibly nice and seemed so passionate about game design. I know he stepped down from his role on the WoW Team in 2016, but besides reading tha he’s still employed by Blizzard, I was unable to ascertain what team he wound up on. He was always my favorite dev and I’d like to follow the projects he’s involved in.
Anyone know anything?
I think we still don’t know.

Probably getting caught in the cube crawling fiasco?
Doubtful, Tom is a genuinely great guy.

He’s directing an unannounced game. It could take a while before we know anything, or it could go the Titan way and never see the light of day.
In any case, he’s still at Blizzard.
How do you know? Because you shook his hand?
Yeah, he had a solid handshake and a friendly, trustworthy demeanor.
This isn’t the 1850’s, I don’t think you can judge a man based on his handshake.
But you implied that they could.
I assumed the “secret” project he left to work on ended up being WoW Classic, but I could be wrong
I wish they’d bring him back to retail and let him be Lead Game Designer. We need someone old school who hasn’t ruined their reputation,

Pretty sure we would have heard about that.
I think you are confusing him for Greg Street (ghostcrawler)
Nobody knows. It’s all a big mystery.
Who do you think was running the show for WOD lol
I liked WoD. MoP was my favorite, followed by Wrath, but WoD wasn’t bad. If you add in a bit more content, it was a pretty solid expansion.

WOD was so miss-managed it was bailed on in its Alpha/Beta. During and interview he proclaimed that 6.1’s Selfie patch “Was the biggest patch in Wows History!”
It brings a tear to my eye to see someone that knows it was Tom Chilton in charge then.
I doubt he ever said that.
But I will concede if I was shown that he did.
