I’m going back there today to smack Kael around for his damn phoenix for the 90th time, and ya know it occurred to me, why has this never come up again?
After looking into it I think it’s the reasoning for the Eye of the Storm BG. But all things considered it’s odd it never even came up in Legion. The Vindicaar gets a big song and dance but it could by all rights get smashed on whatever passes for a windshield on those ‘dimensional’ ships.
It’s just odd. We’ve had a Battle for Azeroth but apparently nobody outside a retired Thrall bothered with Outland and the Death Star that’s just parked there.
I believe Kael’thas dismantled the interdimensional engines to build the mana forges so it’s effectively up on blocks in the car park right now.

It comes up in Legion. It gets attacked by the Burning Legion so they can bust a demon loose from the Arcatraz.
I think the naaru retook it? Either that or they just locked it up and left it in Netherstorm. Not sure. Either way, there’s demons fighting lingering Sunfury constructs and whatnot.

It was during the Argus campaign, on a quest chain for one of the Vindicaar action buttons.
Ah. I got the one that gave you a mech suit and never saw the reasoning in going after anything else.
I did it for the achievement but, yes, the Lightforged Warframe “I want to kill everything in a 3 mile radius” button is definitely the best
