You heard it, list it here.
Mine? They usually take a visit to Pinky’s Groggery in Upton Borough in Boralus. High quality Whiskey! Arathor Single cask is a personal favorite of my rogue.
Daysha here tends to enjoy the classic dwarven mead, while my priestess tends to go with wine or hearthglen ambrosia. Now my belf hunter? Anything strong. Offer her some wine or fruity, frilly drinks and you’ll likely wear them.
Dwolnir is fond of stronger Dwarven spirits. His go to is Whiskey distilled from Khaz Modan. He finds standard ales (particularly Human ales) quite “boring”, and they do not seem to have as much of an effect on him.
His love of drink can sometimes be his weakness, however. He definitely stands out among his Ironforge Paladin chapter for partaking more often then he should. He can also get frustrated when there is no spirit drink to his liking in the taverns throughout travels and missions, which is why he stocks up on his preferences beforehand–Badlands Bourbon is fairly easy to procure and remains a solid choice for him.
Whatever he can get his hands on.
Benedikt has a particular love of a previously rare cocktail that blends Skull Shocker with Dark Iron blood. It has a lovely spicey after taste and the sweet red dwarven claret cuts the bitter flavor of the Shocker quite nicely and contains a delightfully spicey after taste.
It is however a dangerous drink. Attempting to gauge the blood alcohol level of any given dwarf is more art than science and the shocker alone is quite potent. You can easily fall into a stupor if you consume it in any large quantity.
The Dark Lager that you can brew from cooking. Cailean brewed it himself and used it often (though sparingly) as sustenance on his travels. Consume too much too quickly and it’ll blur your vision. Alternately there is a highly potent whisky he keeps in reserve for the rare occasions he needs to quickly numb himself. I forget the name, but it only takes one or two swigs to get him where he’s going.
Kaileena loves the sweet red wine grown from a secert vineyards in Ashenvale combined with other druidic enhanced fruits. The wine is aged for at least 600 years. Unfortunately most of the stock was held in Teldrassil and is now gone. The swill they serve in Stormwind is hardly drinkable.
Drahliana used to have a serious addicton to Winterspring Firewater.
Not fitting through doors though was a severe problem.
Since coming to Kul Tiras, Baldris has developed a good taste for a type of drink sold in Tortallan bars under the water, called the Dark Below. Very strong, strong enough to break through the Light’s healing powers (which he long ago discovered also count as “anti-drunkenness” powers), and grant a few blissful minutes of drunk feeling. It’s a nice way to not have to think about some of the things people ask him to do, especially those who want him to look through poop for things (He notices that it happens at least once a war). Sadly, the Light will kick back in after about twenty minutes, and remove that drunken feeling, though it is nice to not have a hangover later.
The souls of dwarven alcoholics.
Wait, I mean; Zirahael’s just really open to experiences. There hasn’t been a set sort of brew that she has settled in. She’s spent most of her life within Night Elf society and their rather restrictive selection of alcohol, so she can sort of be compared to a ‘newbie’ when it comes to sampling the various brews and drinks found across Azeroth.
Kalisandrah has developed a taste for arcwine, since her time spent in Suramar as a means to help her destress, after dealing with a long day of training.
My new worgen druid Karashara proffers either sweet red elven wine, or Fortified Gilnean Brandy. Weaker drinks don’t work like they used to, when she was still human.
My worgen huntress Kristina on the other hand proffers vrykul mead, dwarven ale, and Gilnean Brandy. The stronger the better, given that she is a hardened outdoorswoman, that has spent most of her time in Northrend, and she has never been a lightweight with her drinking.
Zhao here doesn’t drink often. When she does her preferred drink is soju mixed with apple juice, alternatively plum wine, as the latter is far easier to obtain.
One of my Night Elves, Alami Lightriver, is a vintner. She often drinks her own product, especially when trying to sell to wealthy potential clients. Her vineyard primarily uses moonberries over grapes but also dabbles in a variety of other fruit wines.
Gilnean wine and absinthe.
They call it The Furred Fairy.
Galifred considers it improper for the “Shield of Boralus” to become drunken, as such he only drinks strong drink at times of heavy celebrations, usually preferring a strong tea for everyday drinking. When he cuts loose he prefers Drop Anchor Dunkel, or Brennadam Apple Brandy.
Vencio re-attempts various times to play an old gilnean flute while gazing from above a secluded tower (elsewhere in SW) at the sailors coming by from the docks.
His bottle rests between his legs,
Though a terrible flute player, he’s gullible enough to still try
Mostly brewfest ale, because of my unlimited supply.
Where can I get me some sweet boralus rum in the horde
My bar tender, Cel tends to enjoy going to old Dalaran. He likes the local wine up there as well as the espresso machine new Dalaran has for after. Also has a taste for South Seas Moonshine which he has a large stock of! If your alt wants to attend his neutral bar the Rolling Keg (~https://discord.gg/HFmcR28~) there be an invite!
Oooh Moonberry wine, sounds delicious!
