What does it mean to be a horde player now

Transparent “wraith” skintone for undead has been on my wishlist.

I believe a Blue Post be it forum or twitter confirmed garrosh and his orcs were a minority group amongst the orc populace that supported Garrosh. Specifically a bluepost focused on quelling any idea that the Orcs were just all around dead as a race. which was not the case.

This has been made clear since Vanilla. As undead you even start out neutral with the rest of the faction because no one trusts or likes them.

The Horde is a hodgepodge group of races to counterbalance the alliance races influence and expansionism against perceived and real threats and to further their own individual agendas. Each individual faction inside the horde aggressively vie for power and control to advance their own agendas. The Tauren are an exception as are those Orcs who follow their lead. Orcs are written as being easily manipulated mostly being a tool for the other races (and outside powers) of the horde to accomplish their agendas. The horde with the Troll-Naga-Sin’dorei-Nightfallen sub-factions who feel it’s their rightful place and destiny to rule Azeroth. The greedy goblin faction who would like nothing more then domination of Azeroth. The ruthless forksaken who have their own ambitions beyond simple survival.

The faction is heavy conflict and intrigue. As the factions and sub-factions within the horde vie for power. Give blizzard writers a bit of credit as the faction is exceedingly difficult to write for trying to cater to the players. More or less enjoy the rollercoaster ride that is the Horde.

Until you realize that such a rollercoaster has sort of resulted in a wasteland of underused, underdeveloped, and generally underpowered representatives in a game that has increasingly been written VERY hero heavy. If your PC race doesn’t have strong representation, its almost like your PC race doesn’t exist. BUT, with how Blizz seems to be building up a council; finally ending the “Alliance of Convenience” of the Forsaken; and the specific reps they’re putting in to fill the gaps … seems they’re is finally aiming for some stability on the red team.

On the other side of the fence, the Alliance seems primed for some infighting and drama … so enjoy that for a bit Blue Team (you’ve been asking for it for ages, and we might actually get to see it manifest in some way soon here).

Eh, with some luck none of our characters will go Garrosh/Sylvanas. Jaina at least managed to escape that and I doubt Tyrande will simply be villain batted if only because I dont think Blizzard is going to keep kicking the night elves.

Sure we are.

Tyrande: We won’t sign a peace treaty with the Horde until Sylvanas has been hunted down!
Genn: Nods in agreement.
Anduin: Well we’re going to put our resources into hunting Sylvanas down, so there!
Jaina and Alleria and Shaw: Nod in agreement.
Tyrande: Then we’re just going to have to agree to agree!
Lor’themar: Signing the peace treaty already, We’re hunting down Sylvanas, too!
Shandris: The sentinels have made use of that terrain for millennia. Our knowledge of the land was old when the Farstriders were young.
Lor’themar: Yes, of course.

Yeah but this was after the fact and not shown in game. In many ways there was less indication of the orcs not being behind Garrosh then there has been with the Forsaken and Sylvanas.

those forsaken are no more. Mommy Calia will not allow harm people.

Horde is dead. Forsaken is extra dead-undead-dead and can be just removed at this point
