Casting premonition of insight, piety and solace at 100% effectiveness…
No clue what that means. I dont have any of those spells. Do I need to google it?
Its literally the only spell Ive ever seen on wowhead without a single comment. Not in my spellbook. A shield that absorbs 0 dmg and 15%? What? What the what? Im prolly the only person that doesnt get it. What?

Another one in there - does something to power word life? Ive never seen that before in my entire life. Says its in the Priests cat. Where? Im getting old I guess. Used to be like what, 49 ish talents. Started after 10. Now we get 3 trees with 90 talents and some get removed / replaced / removed again. Ive been level 120 then 90 then 120 then 30 on the same toon. I just wanna heal man not research. Ugh I digress. Seriously though. The talent that swaps between 3 different things - Ive been a holy P for my entire wow ‘career’. Starting a new one. Its no wonder everyone went disc 15 years ago. Ill die on that hill though - love to my disc p’s but Ima stay holy. Even if I get spells I cant find or even understand. Dont worry, you will still live.
It’s a cycling ability. Each 3 casts does something different, but the third gives the previous 2 plus it’s own.
Insight (the first cast) then bomb out 3-4 PoMs. Then on Piety just over heal everything, you don’t stop healing, then on Solace you do everything.
I make sound cue for these in WAs. Having them on your screen as a WA really isn’t gonna do anything, you want the sound cue.
Also your Holy Words cool things down and other spells cool the Holy Words down, it’s combo game play. You’re not supposed to literally be thinking about what to cool down, you just use everything and cool down abilities. If you take the talent that extends Apotheosis, then you use Holy Word Chastise during that cooldown, but that’s kind of an Archon thing to do, I don’t even take that talent, I take the one that gives instant Heals.
I also highly recommend Fallin’s Priest WA suite. It makes them follow your cursor around so you don’t need to move your eyes away from HP bars at all.
Ahh. Thats the spell that rotates. Ty. If the 1% get a gain from it - great I wont complain about it. Ill never use it. I can keep everyone alive in everything I play. Im not after mythic 12s. I still question though. Why is that a thing. I did just fine as holy on my other toon - 635 - mostly LFR / LFG - just like to play. To be honest, I didnt play my holy pally. Or Sham. Druid though. No monk either. I had every other DPS spec. I dont recall a rotating spell. It probably exists. Im one of those - good enough nowadays. Just annoys me I can / need to put talent points into things I dont benefit from. The other tree for example requires halo. Yeah I have it. Halo isnt great for how I play. Its like Circle of Healing. Call it a filler - cant please us all. I get it. At least it doesnt aggro mobs now…
Im always looking to improve - IRL / in general - this is just one of those things I dont get the point of. I know its there for a reason and Im sure it does wonders. I appreciate the helpful info. I will look into it more. Just being honest though and as you agreed with me on, I play for fun nowadays. Im not topping meters or pushing limits. Its not an issue with adapting - not being defensive - the game has a lot more branches now. Some gravitate towards - well. Ill spare you the speech you know where Im goin. I actually find it fun to be able to cast out 4 PoMs in a row. Also you can do a Holy Fire combo with it. There is a talent in the tree that gives you 2 Holy Fires if you Chastise. So you can cast out 5 Holy Fire’s in a row and it’s very fun.
