I’l give you this, that is i think something i could agree too with being extremely low effort. (I mean obviously it’s not zero effort, you have to find your phone, film yourself, gather your thoughts in a minimal possible matter, say some funny stuff in between (or just yell and be angry, that works too) and upload it to YouTube)
Personally, i think you should be paid the amount for the effort that was put in. That video in particular would be like… 0.0001 cent per view if were being generous.
Here’s where i say it’s debatable, You remember that Sneezing Baby Panda video from like 2006? If you don’t, it was one of the old meme videos that referenced on an episode of South Park, along with that Star Wars Guy that swinged his stick around like a lightsaber, Laughing baby, Afro Ninja, Chocolate Rain Guy ( i forgot his name), Dramatic Gopher and few others i forgot. Edit: Oh crap, Numa Numa guy and that spacesuit wearing guy was in that episode too!
The effort on the Sneezing Baby panda video is obviously just somebody filming a baby panda sneezing and uploaded on the video… And it was insanely popular. Iconic even. I can’t say for how many views are on it now since the original 2006 video is no longer available, but it was around 162 million views around August 2013.
I’m not saying Filming Animals being… Animals doesn’t deserve clicks. I’m just saying, between your example of people filming each other saying how godzilla sucks or playing fortnite and typical animal videos, the effort is almost entirely the same but the genres are different and one is more popular then the other. Which in turn means… more money. Sometimes, less is more.

honestly what it seems classic fans complain about is nostalgia and the issues regarding leveling and gearing. Well for me times have changed. I hop on i want to play. I don’t need 45 minutes of me running from goldshire to westfall lol. As well as the classes for the most part work.

The game was developed in 2004, utilizing what is today, a very old engine. You cannot compare it to modern MMOs which use new engines.

That’s interesting and not a bad idea. Recently I’ve been clearing my hard drive on my Xbox 1 for games. About to pop in Witcher 3 and beat all the dlc, just been on my to do list.
So instead of replaying 2 with the 4k update, I found a guy who did a video. 10 hours long. Obviously some gameplay elements because a game like the Witcher wouldn’t make sense if it was only cutscenes.
I commented congratulating him. Like, THAT takes time lol. To play through the entire Witcher 2 campaign and record it? The way he did it, I would give the kid $20 bucks for that lol.

You have never coded before have you? Once you utilize an engine for your game you are stuck with it. You can’t replace it without making a completely new game with a completely new engine. This is why everytime a new expansion hits, or a new patch hits, a thousand things in the game breaks. You have to start from scratch everytime you program something and even then, there are things within the engine that cannot be changed. This is why eye color is affixed to face. This is why your character has no sliders.

no but i’m legit not trying to argue or be a jerk lol but like i LOVE havoc. I’m having fun with my Kul Tiran brewmaster. Island expeditions are fine with me, pushing mythic 10 or 11 keys.
We’re still working on heroic mekka then eventually Jaina. I mean i honestly don’t know what issues people have? I mean complaints about leveling too easy? Well when i made my Kul tiran i didn’t want to spend 3 months getting him from 20 to 120 lol
