Almost nothing PvP related is ever announced with an expac announcement sadly.

You know what they’re gonna announce for pvp for 10.0?
A new and innovative system where you have to grow within the ranks of your chosen clan! These clans are obviously very flavorful and we think the aesthetic will draw people over each of the clan! But they are also a huge crap rep grind for each new massive patch, also the system i’ve spoken about that clearly just for cosmetic stuff? Yeah they’re also 6000% of your character power locked behing some spells, passives and other craps too and chores you have to do everyday and weekly, only from raid, dungeons, quests! All the pve sweets and goodness!!
We also decided to make a return of LEGENDARIES because it’s been a while since we’ve gotten some and we’ve been hearing about players wanting them, obviously it aint gonna be like Legion and rng, no no. You’ll just have to do all the PVE content from dungeons and raid to get a crap item to discover the legendary, and then you’ll do a crap ton of other system we’ve made to get the currency for our crap legendaries! So much FUUNN looking foward!
Each new patch will add one new small zones that you are obligated to do with extra pve goodness!! Another butt load of character power locked behind a massive rep grind!

-Blizzard: OH YEAH we obviously didnt forget about our beloved classes! You will lose all you already have, even remove some spells you have baseline, AND THEN, big surprise!!! We’d give it back to you BEHIND SOME CLAN STUFFS YAYYYY!! Again, avaiable only via the pve sweets 
As for pvp, you’re just a SIDE game

IDK i just pray holinka gives us the juice. 
I’d like to see a solo-queue rbg that’d be awesome! Hopefully the list doesn’t include Deepwind Gorge. A new SL Capture the Flag and 5 point cap maps would be great to add too.
Solo-queue as a healer has been rough. DPS run in and line me and spread so I can’t cover both or I get trained with no peels. Not that I’m a great player, but it gets frustrating and likely why not too many healers jump in.
Oh and get rid of the gimmicky trinkets!

That last “big announcement” was just that strange lady going over the singing robots for several minutes.
I have little faith they even mention pvp and instead spend all their time going over all the annoying systems with smiles on their face and then spend the last few minutes going over their newest woke culture policy to make the Twitter people happy.

Blur is now being reduced to a 20 second CD. This way DHs will be playable.
Warlock will also have permanent Dark Soul up in order for them to be playable.
Are we guessing or are we hoping?
I hope pvp max gear isn’t rating based and available to the general population.
I hope there are bada$$ cosmetics earned for rating. (As well as titles and achievements)
I’m guessing they will implement solo q in one way or another. I’m guessing there will be a huge imbalance until the new borrowed power is earned. Then there will be a different imbalance based on the new borrowed power. I’m guessing there will be a new arena map and maybe a bg.
They’ve scrapped the dregs of these forums to bring true balance to pvp. They saw how popular bringing back old raids/m+ was and are introducing timewalking arena!
All classes will be reworked to be in their most complained about form. Every iteration of borrowed power will be back and you’ll be forced to become a neet just to even have a chance at competing. Its gonna be great.
