What does “awakened” mean

Let’s be honest and call a spade a spade. I’m okay with new gear and still having fun but it’s just the exact same raid with more hp on the boss? Nothing new, no affix, no fun buff or something to go ham with?

Repeat dungeons every m plus season, repeat raids instead of actual content. Pretty soon seasons will be a time warp where your toon gets teleported back to season 1 and you have to restart the expansion

Filler season of a filler xpac

Get yer 8 done OP?

For several past xpacs, we had huge content gaps at this time that sometimes spanned a year.

Fated / Awakened “victory lap” content is an alternative to this, because it takes minimal development resources while Blizzard is working on the next expansion.

Could small indie Blizzard hire more devs and have both continually released content and work on the new expansion at the same time? Probably, but it’s hard to say without actually seeing their metrics.

But yeah, if possible I wish Blizz would focus on long-term quality product instead of the short-term bottom line of shareholders (remember, like they used to). I also think that this leads to long-term financial success.

It’s this or literally nothing, and I’d take this over nothing. If anything, this is my favorite season of the expansion because I can get all my BiS from all the raids!

Its the patch thats supposed to “awaken” you to go play other versions of wow or other games until tww.

It’s either this or another 6 months or so of Amirdrassil.

And hey, if S4 isn’t for you, MoP Remix is around the corner.

Awakended
/əˈwākən/
Past tense:
Awakended dungeons are boring

Recycled reused content that Blizzard somehow manages to do two expansions in a row, despite players not wanting to redo the same 8 ridiculous dungeons.

Similar to:
Shadowland’s dungeons, lazy, boring

What does “awakened” mean

It means being woke.

I’ll see myself out

Rise up from your thousandth year, of sleep!

LOL…I can guarantee that you don’t know what this saying means. As it is, at least in today’s time, a bannable offence.

Edit: Hint: The saying does not refer to shovels…

The origin of the statement comes from the card game of “Bridge”. Only recently in the hyper sensitive “woke” era has it come to have any sort of a racial connotation. Oscar Wilde used the phrase in “The Picture of Dorian Grey” to ask if “anyone should use the phrase who has never held a shovel in his hands”? A good question.

Awakened is the replacement term for Fated that we got in the final season of Shadowlands, which was also no new content, but up-scaled gear and enemy difficulty.

Shadowlands’ last season also introduced Dinars, which for Dragonflight has been replaced by the term Antique Bronze Bullion… same thing though (except you can buy transmog as well as raid items with Bullion and cosmetics are forever while items will be replaced early in the next expansion later this year).

I’ve literally never heard the term used ever in the context of race, ever.

You need to go back a little further in time.
Or better yet, actually consult a historical linguist.
