So hopefully by the end of BfA each race will get their own heritage armor set. What do you want yours to look like?
I’m hoping that for draenei they go for a lighter, more tribal-themed set evocative of their original concept art:
The space marines heavy armor Draenei aesthetic is already explored well enough by the Lightforged and their set: I’d welcome a return to the BC-era characterization of Draenei as good-hearted cosmic vagabonds.
A more elaborate version of what I have on right now would be great. Similar to Chen Stormstout.
OR, go in a new direction and use a concept of armor from the original pandaren empire. Actual plate, something Titan-esque, inspired by the theme of the Vale of Eternal Blossoms.
I’d love a nathanos long coat but I have a feeling mine is going to be a dark ranger set since the heritage armor simply seems to be based off the racial leaders so far
I’m going to be extremely sore if Worgen don’t get a tophat. Though for that matter, a bowler cap for goblins would be perfect too. XD

I saw some art someone did a while back that was racial armor, for each class. They were all absolutely amazing. I really wish Blizzard devs cared as much as some fans do.
Ideally, I would get something that’s not just like, vomiting glowing crystals in my face. I suppose that’s technically the draenei aesthetic, but if they did that I would just end up feeling like a weird paladin.
Realistically, it will probably look like an SS uniform or something, because this is Blizzard and draenei players aren’t allowed to feel cool.
If gnome heritage armor isn’t all spinning cogs and gears, I will flip multiple tables. Especially if that is what they give the junker gnomes for heritage armor instead.
No knowing yet if the Gnome set is animated, but I’m looking forward to it regardless:

That said, I suspect humans will get something akin to Uther’s equipment since they seem to be drawing from WC3 heroes or units.
It’ll be impressive if they come up with something for humans that isn’t disappointing or a retread of an existing set.
Even an Uther look would basically just be the Field Marshal plate set.
Yeah, I’ve been trying to think of an answer to your question and it’s really hard to think up something for humans. If you wanted to go grunt, well, we’ve already got the guard set. Anything plate is probably already done, if not overdone. What I think I’d want is some cool civvies-- something you’d see a regular citizen of Stormwind wearing.

How old is the field marshal set though? If it’s the one I’m thinking of its got like 6 polygons to it’s name. I would actually love to see an hd remake of it.
