Speculative thinking,if I were young the possibilities are endless but to the end as a whole there is no such a thing as growing up but more growing into . People wish immortality which is a joyful endeavor with stars and sparkles endlessly forming in front of conscious mind. If so a person can be anything ,anyone they like given the surrounding would bend for you and bow.
I wanted to be an artist,astronaut,astronomer,writer,but that wasn’t what i turn out to be ,I live it to gods direction for me ,faith has meaning ,and try to weave all into one which is fine .
You can still be all those things, but I’d advise against becoming a freelance astronaut.

A job is just a job. Many people are unable to earn stable employment in their field of study. Fun fact: Despite what the older generations thinks SHOULD happen. Trade school graduates are underemployed at a higher rate then those with BS degrees in the last 5 years. Many others find that once they enter their field, they do not enjoy it long term due to a variety of reasons.
LOL sure at my age hardly,no I’ll leave that to younger folks I have a shorter journey now to go which is fine in this state afterwards I hope it would be stars and sparkles would be nice to travel the universe like the silver surfer.

I wanted to be not poor. At 46 now and I still haven’t achieved that. Doubt it will ever happen so I will settle for having enough to not worry anymore. Beginning to lose hope of that. Just want to have a couple achers of land, a small house out in the country and just be left alone.
Kid me wanted to be an artist, ended up going Digital for 11+ years since traditional work has been killing my hand. It helps pay for entertainment stuff such as WoW, but it’s not reliable enough to turn it into a job imo.

I wanted many things, was promised much by those around me, and achieved naught. I want nowadays only to hold down a job, partake of my hobbies, ignore the world and live alone until Death comes to liberate me.
