What do you wanna have in Trading Post?

Hello People

I want to open another discussion here, after seeing another month of trading post selling things that aren’t really my thing. Of course, I don’t want to put down those who like them, just discuss other possibilities.

And of course, I also want to ask you: What would you like to see in the trading post for you to buy?

I’ll even describe here some things that I think WoW doesn’t have yet, or has very few of, and could come:

1- Tabards and mounts inspired by class orders. I play as rogue and as far as I know, we don’t have the Uncrowned tabard anywhere in the game, and I think they could come in the trading post. In addition to mounts such as horses, raptors, talbuk, motorcycles, wolves, tigers, elks and other types of mounts with the Uncrowned banner. And those of the other class orders too.

2- Tabards and mounts inspired by nations, clans, cartels and other types of divisions that some playable races have. I have an orc warrior who in my RP is from the Burning Blade clan, and I would love to put a tabard, a wolf with a banner and maybe even a flag on the back of this clan. I also have a worgen hunter who I would love to put a Gilneas-themed mount on, with a banner and everything.

3- More motorcycle options as mounts, we still have very few. As well as biker transmog options, to match the motorcycles. Who knows, maybe even motorcycles with themes for classes, races, nations, clans and everything else.

4- More transmog options and mounts with archaeologist, pirate and engineer themes. We recently had a special mechanic outfit in green and yellow, and I already want to recolor them in red, black, blue, white, purple, orange and brown.

5- More mounts (including motorcycles), transmogs, tabards and everything else themed around WoW villain factions, such as Scarlet Crusade, Twilight Hammer, Burning Legion, Scourge, Iron Horde, Defias, Primalists and more.

These are the things I would like to buy at the trading post. What about you?

I generally tend towards a more low-fantasy, adventurer look, so I’d love to see more of that.

Something I really want in the TP are the Warskirts and feet we’re already getting but in full black and full white.

This is going to be controvertial, but a lot of cool transmog is gated behind older content.

As an example, Tabard of the Tyr’s Guard from Dragonflight is gated behind Renown 12 and about 9 different quest chains.

I didn’t play Dragonflight, so going back and grinding out Renown and then doing 1,000’s of quests to unlock the Tabard is just crazy.

Same goes for Rift’s transmogs. I don’t even know how rifts work. Do I have them unlocked? How do I do it? Is it solo’able? And this is just 1 example of many.

When content is current, it makes sense to have it gated, but when content is now 5-8 years old, it’s pretty crazy to keep it hella gated like that.

So I’d love to see some of these things on the Trading Post.

I want a month of no mounts so I can freaking save my tenders.

And I want my Valajar Champion’s Greatsword to be the correct size.

I saw several hedgehog mounts on wow mounts and I want them all. Never thought they could come up with mounts cuter than the alpacas, but I was wrong.

HD versions of old classic weapon models.

A LOT of the og WoW weapon models look amazing, just a tad outdated.

I’m fine with what ever. Admittedly I like dressing Felsavior in the cutesy stuff but each of my characters have different styles so I’ll find something I like.

I like when they do themes.

Also, more tootsie-covering boots (mostly for trolls, but I would like more that encase hooves as well) and belts with stuff on them— like vials, chains, ect.

For summer they should have some swimwear. Speedo’s, bikinis and whatnot, let’s have some fanservice! They can also add pool noodles as weapon mogs and stuff.

I say that every month and then get giddy when they release something silly like those horses wearing jester outfits.

I hope they eventually allow us to earn more coins per month someday.

better selection of belts, we got the evening gowns, evening gloves, hide pants for the gowns and the trial of style helped with the boot colors, but no good belts yet to accommodate these mogs.

I’m of the mind that there needs to be a mix of “big ticket” items as well as “smalls” but over and above all else the track cap needs to be more worthwhile; like we used to get full unique transmog sets or mounts but this past month we got… 2 masks. As such I’d like to see more items that make people go “DUUUUUDDDEE!!!”

But if I was going to pick something specific… I’d say give us a brutosaur mount that doesn’t have the vendors attatched. This would give people a huge, fun mount to stomp around on while not undermining the value of the preceding two mounts where people spent monumental amounts of money (the first one cost somewhere around 450 dollars in wow tokens while the newer one was around 90 USD). Something like this could be priced around 650 to reflect that it’s a ground mount but also a 2 passenger mount OR they could make it a monthly reward.

Also: something else that could be good is if they offered up enchantment glamors for weapons.

Backpieces that come from different animals, such as the hawk, swan, humming bird, bee, dragonfly, bat, dragon, etc.

Whips, lances, chain swords, weapons we don’t see very often.

New skins for spells and summons. What if mages could summon an elemental that looked like Jaina’s mount?

More demon mounts, like the observers we see.

New titles. I would like to see “Phoenix” or “the Phoenix” become a title so I could be Phoenix Phoenix or Phoenix the Phoenix.

This made me giggle. :blush:

And that’s what I bought just the other day. I almost didn’t because I really didn’t care for the jester hat. Just wasn’t my thing and annoyingly it was the one thing keeping me from clicking buy. Think I held out a few days and then bought it. lol I love the caparison (decorative blanket essentially) because they are so colorful and makes the mount really stand out. It sold the horse.

From my years of playing D&D, I always loved knights and paladins on horseback and the caparison was something I gravitated to. A way to embellish my characters and add color. I hope to see more like this. Just without the jester hat. lol

As for what I’d like on the Trading Post… :thinking:

Anything bear related. We are lacking in bear mounts and updated bear battle pets. :bear: :polar_bear:
