Curious what everyone here wants to see in a 20th anniversary.
Based on the Tier 2 related weapons that were made I am personally hoping to see a remastered BWL with updated Tier 2 Models as rewards. Tier 2 was one of WoW’s most visually appealing tiers and seeing those sets in HD with more depth and 3d additions instead of just flat textures would be amazing. Plus BWL was a very fun raid.
Or maybe they will end up doing the multiple raid fights thing again where you kinda take a tour of the past 20 years! What are yall hoping for?
The limited time return of the Anniversary Core Hound, Obsidian Worldbreaker, Baby Blizzard Bear, Lil’ Nefarian, and Molten Corgi. (I have all but the Core Hound but I want more people to have all the things)
Maybe a Nefarian mount to go with the already obtainable Onyxia mount if they do run with a BWL special edition for anniversary!
20th anniversary huh. 2 decades and still World of Warcaft stands. Would have to be something to represent that I would imagine.
I know it would seem dumb for some, but for me, I would like there to be an option if only for this anniversary we could do a group photo of sorts. Like the Blizzard team goes onto every single server, all at the same place in the world and we the players are gathered up for it. To which then after each shot has been taken, a big portrait is made with each shot.
No mounts though, or I can see it not going so well. I don’t think that will happen, but given the specific anniversary, I figured why not do something like that.
FFXIV has a very special way of celebrating specific milestone anniversaries. They hold Screenshot contests with specific themes/color request then they pick some some 20k out of millions of screenshots submitted that fit the theme and they use those screenshots to create a much bigger piece of art (usually in the form of a current expansions box art or the art for the anniversary itself.)

I’m not creative enough to have an idea of my own. I’ll probably be happy with whatever they decide to do though. After all, anniversary rewards are usually handed out pretty freely. Basically just free stuff for logging in always sounds good to me!
Oh, so is this like christmas now lol? I’m gonna wish big then, accompanied by tons of hopium.
Only two things tho, first the easy one, a come back of the old anniversary rewards, not for free of course, with a bit of a farm during the celebration you would be able to get everything that you missed for some reason. Those aren’t that “prestigious” anyways compared to many other exclusive things.
Now the big thing would be each class receiving a legendary transmog set to combine with a legendary weapon related to the class, but something inspired by the lore, that could be a new special design of the Legion legendary artifacts or something else from lore that made sense for each class. The set could be something new to go along with the weapon, doesn’t really need to be related to existent lore as well, but would be cool if a match for each class and weapon could be found.
