So I half agree with that. I don’t actually believe she wants everyone dead. If she did, wouldn’t she have just already blighted all the horde and raised them as mindless zombies to serve her will?
She mainly wants humans, and by extension storm wind, raised as forsaken, because like any real world leader, she fears they want her peoples extinction. Do I agree with it? Probably not, but it’s not an unrealistic logical thought processes.
My theory is more she knows there’s something wrong with death, but doesn’t know exactly what. And the existence of the alliance is a threat to herself, and she can’t let that stay while she figures out what to do
Yep, not like we don’t have portals to other worlds we could move to. You are more than welcome to stay behind but I think the rest of us can find some place a little nicer.
That’s her current thought process, but the thread is about the ending of BFA. I just think she will finally get her revelation, the information she needs to embrace her grim destiny. Whether N’Zoth dies or not, I think that he is merely a catalyst to usher in a new age of darkness over Azeroth. Anything living will be consumed by madness as the Shadowlands and Azeroth become one. The only way to ignore the whispers is to be undead, redeemed, or a master of the shadow’s whispers in the case of the void elves.
Think or want?
Think - I believe Blizzard will create some kind of stupid redemption story for her… That she was under some sort of mind control and not responsible for her actions… and it will be lets all xx oo and make up garbage.
Want - I want her to be turned into ashes and sprinkled over Varian’s grave.
Speaking of Northrend- Maybe it’s just me but anyone notice that Zandalari And KT, are both the tallest playable races? And remember the excuse as to why we couldn’t have Vykrul as a playable race? Because of their height? I think that excuse has effectively went out the window.
All I’m saying- is that it seems to be opening a door for a new allied race. After those interviews, I am never touching (or buying) anything else after BfA BUT if they did add Vykrul as an allied race (For Horde…I Hope)- I would change my mind in a heart beat.
I want her to be dead too, but not sprinkled on Varian’s grave.
To me her story was told and should be ended. It’s obvious that they are forcing her to being undead, and the more they write, the more cringy and mustache twirling villain she becomes
She’s going to kill Bolvar and become the Lich Queen. She even has her own runeblade now to make the Arthas parallel even more obvious.
Except, the Old Gods will be the ones whispering to her this time, and she’ll raise the entire Black Empire into Undeath, the dead Old Gods included. She’ll be the face of an Eldritch Scourge expansion.
The Naaru Saa’ra is going to convince Calia and Anduin to redeem Bolvar and maybe even the Helm of Domination. Y’all think there’s no way Sylvanas can get so evil, but the Alliance will be doing some questionable things as well. I reckon Velen in particular (a prophet who has seen how faith can blind us and how nothing is in “fate’s” hands) may start to question this new, tyrannical version of the Light and could perhaps be the Uther to an Anduin who slowly becomes everything he claims to be against. Meanwhile it has been foreshadowed for years that Sylvanas is also becoming the very monster she was slain by, with her conquest over Teldrassil mirroring the siege of Quel’Thalas among other examples. Everything comes full circle and Blizzard loves retelling Arthas’ story stropes over and over.
That is actually a clever take on the whole “She was doing the right thing ALL ALONG!” tired old trope…I could get behind that. But since I think it would be a pretty tight turn of the plot means that it’ll never happen, and instead we’ll get the Lich Queen.
“Look! She became the thing she hated most! It’s full circle!”
What are you talking about? I go there all the time. It’s very relaxing. I did the silly Orc scenario then I went back and my Garrison was still there. I’m guessing the new orcs are from an alternate alternate Draenor. Or maybe there’s another alternate or two missing.
Outland is falling apart. if anything, we need to recruit all the sentient races that are still rummaging around on shattered planets once and for all. I’m talking about the Broken, the Ogres, the Mok’Nathal, the Arrakoa, etc. Azeroth is worth fighting for.
Doubt it. There must always be a lich king t keep feral undead at bay. lead the knights of the ebon blade. And do the necessary darkness to save Azeroth.
Yeah I think it’s just more realistic approach to it. She understands she needs to fix something, but she needs time. She also understands that the alliance really want to kill her (greymane in stormheim).
Then with the emergence of a super weapon such as Azerite, she knows the time has come to end the alliance before they develop weapons to end her and the horde.
