What do you think 'Timewalking Pandemonium' is?

Here’s what he know:

  • Game director (Muffinus on Twitter) used the Panda emoji to describe it
  • Last TW Raid added was Firelands in 8.2.5 in 2019 (so MoP should be next?)
  • Tier 2 recolor sets were just data mined
  • Pandemonium is a “wild and [noisy] disorder or confusion; uproar”

I definitely thought it would be a MoP TW Raid, but the Tier 2 sets being recolored has me thinking maybe its more? Maybe the Panda was to throw us off? Maybe its multiple TW raids from multiple expansions?

What are we thinking?

I assume it’s going to be multiple timewalking events at once (all of them?)

The event is called pandamonium. Mispelt to include the world panda.

TimeRUNNING PANDAmonium is what the event is called on the road map. My guess is they’re doing some kind of upgraded Timewalking event that will take us back to Pandaria for more than just some dungeons. They’ve stated in the past they wanted to try applying the Timewalking tech to open world content, so maybe we’ll see Pandaria during Shaohao’s days or during the Mogu Empire.

Off the top of my head, I’m probably so far off it isn’t funny, but my wild guess is Timewalking Timeless Isle.

A limited time event version of an Instanced and updated version of Timeless Isle that is basically the 10.2.7 version of the open world stuff we’ve gotten all xpac, like the Suffusion Camps and Dreamsurges but it’s only for a couple weeks and will return on Mists Timewalking weeks.

I really don’t want to replay content I’ve already played. Maybe Pandamonium is MoP classic version.

Oh well, if it is then those who missed it can enjoy it.

At first I was thinking it would be MoP dungeons or raids scaled to current levels maybe with cool affixes. Now I’m afraid it’s going to be a separate mini game where we all play pandas with 6 spells completely outside of WoW.

Yeah you gotta remember there are millions of WoW players that weren’t around during MoP.

I raided TBC - Cata, then took a break MoP - Legion, and returned to raid the last 3 expacs. I would KILL for raid experiences from those expansions. Lots of new players in my guild that started in the last few years that say the same.

Obviously if its something casual like TW Raid you aren’t forced to play if you don’t want - theyre really just for fun and for gearing alts.

But yeah maybe its like the Challenge Mode stuff returning, like Mage Tower did?

It will be a battle royale / pie eating contest game mode. Everyone plays a panda and you run to the central banquet in order to feast the most. The person that eats the most wins. You want to get there first because while there are 60 player slots, there are only 30 seats at the banquest. However, there are obstacles that you have to defeat to get there.

My opinion is that they are just going to run timewalking every week during S4, but every dungeon NPC will be replaced by a panda version. And when we zone in evrybody will be race-changed to a pandaren. :see_no_evil::hear_no_evil::speak_no_evil:

The hierlooms off Garrosh were datamined months ago… also if you see on the road map dark heart flag next to pandamonium. Prolly gonna be some kind of TW raid/event challenge mode

Some really boring event that kicks off on the hour where you sleepwalk through some toothless mobs to finish your unfailable event.

Like almost every single other patch event.

I’m thinking it’s a PVE event on the scale of plunderstorm, something not crazy time-consuming to do, but fun to jump in a couple of hours a day.

When I think of pandamonium i focus on the panda part and think maybe it’s a rolling race across the great wall of pandaria lol. Mario cart style, idk.
