that sounds liek runescape.
I think another expansion but I could be wrong.
Hopefully a fun expansion, with lots of stuff to do( that I actually WANT to do), like Legion.
I honestly could care less about the theme, or where it takes place, the play is the thing.
Well since we are dealing with writers that lack creativity and seek any excuse to cannibalize the better work of people that came before them I see them having sylvanas going to an alternate northrend to confront alternate arthas at the time he becomes litch king, This is for two reasons, shameless nostalgia prodding to get game sales and the fact they don’t have to design anything. Cannibalization is all they can manage now maybe it’ll be a mobile game too. and we will raid orgrimmar’s underhall to kill sylvanas once and for all and be lectured about how it is dumb to fight eachother for the 50th time by some panda despite the fact it wasn’t our idea to re-ignite the old and tired faction conflict.
Unless they get better writers, the game will be circling the drain.
Thrall comes back and tries to over throw Sylvanas but she isn’t having it and that ends up to be a raid fight with sylvanas being the end raid boss, and during the raid you see that during the time thrall was away he has been working on a spell to bring Vol’jin back and during the fight Thrall casts some spells and we see Bwonsamdi resurrecting Vol’jin’s corpse and together Vol’jin Thrall, Bwonsamdi help take Sylvanas down.
What I was aiming for was possibly another undead theme like “Battle for the Throne” Would be an okay name maybe.
As for leveling and gear wise since they love to recycle stuff so they are bringing back old leveling, talent trees, and gearing…
It will probably be like Gauntlet…couple of buttons to press, loot everywhere…elf needs food badly’ macros and some evil dude to kill.
After traveling thru an “unknown rift” in space we end up in a universe where all elements of Warcraft and Starcraft are combined.
How about onyxia for the 4th time
Im having more fun making low level characters doing classic content lol
Bfa i feel is good but everything is so scattered brained and to much time in between story progression. Its all horde stuff like always
What happened to the days of 77 day cycles??
I only get on my main to raid. Only fun thing. Mythic+ ill so but damn does it suck
I cant fathom why 8.2 is taking so long. Other than hurrr release it to hurt FF14. For how boring i find ff14 sometimes i think about it
Theres a lot of good things to it
Obviously we still need an Australian themed expansion in a desert with giant kangaroos.
We MUST have this expansion, we’ve done Panda-land with the whole Chinese thing, we’ve done Northrend with the whole European thing we’ve done Gilneas with the whole English-noble thing…
Only culture left we need to do is Australian.
On the other side of Azeroth, the Old Gods have been hiding giant kangaroos!
we will go into the emerald dream
im starting to dread now that the wheels are in motion for turmoil in the alliance because " its the alliances turn ". ie: time for blizz to ruin the alliance like they have been the horde for a while now.
theres a few ways they could do a black empire xpack. caverns of time where we go back to the height of the power to stop it from the beginning, OR we travel to a different plane of reality where the empire is to deal with it there. OR it ends up here on azeroth as another " island " xpack and we stop it from fully rising etcs. they also could do it against the backdrop of wrathion and the dragon isles. basically wrathion rocks up with a way to stop the black empire from coming back, and its something to do with the dragon isles.
im also more dreading that they are gonna start running into the problem of running out of bad guys. we need to care about the stakes for it to be an effective story. and if its no-name badguys we dont care one iota about, and we know everything is going to be fine in the end, then its hard to get invested into the story. we really wanted to stop arthas. because we saw his journey along the way and his fall from grace. its why Loki was such an effective villain in the marvel movies, because they made us care about him, unlike someone like Batroc the Leaper, or Yellowjacket. we had no time with them so knew very little about what made them do what they were doing. the old gods/void lords are eldritch and abstract by design. they are otherworldly, and thats hard to convey there purpose and intent.
blizz need to get better writers.
Watch out for the Drop Bears and Emu’s :-)
Could also tie in some NZ ideas like taiha weilding Moa’s :-
lorewise, Warcraft is phenominal, the storywriters are going great… however i think Blizzard’s biggest mistake is they decided to put more focus of the lore into the novels lately, rather than utilize the game to express the story… but I don’t blame Blizzard for this decision since most players anyways just skip over quest text and dialog boxes, so Blizzard prob decided to put the most effort into the novel for those who really are into the story writing.
A good example of how well and in-depth the novel gets compared to the story expressed in-game… take darkshore for example. Players were confused and questioning Sarufang’s “without honor” claims when he struck malfurion but did not kill him… so these forums erupted with alot of discussion about if it was honorable or not cause he interfered in the fight between Malfurion annd Sylvanas etc, yada yada yada… however only those who read the novel would have been privy to what actually happened, which was: Elune intervened and pacified Saurfang. That’s why he dropped his weapon and didn’t finish off Malfurion. Or worse of all, nearly the whole player base questioning why Sylvanas would burn the world tree down so callously, and kill so many innocent civilians, etc, however the novel make’s it clear that Sylvanas knew Elune would intervene in some way, and we learn that Elune did, she pacified the individuals who could not escape the fire, so they felt no pain and fell asleep.
So yeah, Blizzard did a really bad job letting those who didn’t read the novel, who only play the game in on these vital small details.
Very certain it will be something to do with the void. It’s been heavily implied that void-related events are coming and a lot of the past few expansions have been setting up for the void to come into play.
I reckon there will be more stuff to kill. You know, the same thing we’ve had every other exp pak.
I literally had a dream involving doing daily quests fighting giant kangaroos and scorpion like creatures in an Australian-like desert.
Make it happen Blizz!
I don’t care what it is as long as it’s more fun than BFA. I hate this expansion more than any other expansion.
