What do you put on your burger?

This may be controversial to admit, but honestly… I never really liked hamburgers.

If I have to eat one though, I prefer home made buns. Nothing on it I hate ketchup. It’s too sweet.

Would a hug help, friend?

I haven’t had a hamburger in how many years… But I did have a cheeseburger like two weeks ago. Too bad you only asked about hamburgers.

A mix of Hellmans regular mayo with Sriracha hot sauce.
About 6 to 1 mix.

bacon, lettuce, onion, swiss/guoda cheese, fried egg, mayo, ketchup, sriracha.

Toasted buns
1-2 patties (3 oz each)
Carmelized onions
Lettuce
Tomato
Pickle
American cheese
Homemade burger sauce (dijon, mayo, BBQ sauce plus seasonings)

Chef’s kiss.

Another burger.

Brazilian burger pizza

I commented about the peanut butter, but I should also say my go to is pretty plain. When I build a burger at Five Guys, I do a single patty bacon cheeseburger with ketchup and mayo. Nice and simple.

Additionally, it’s so much easier and less messy to eat than my wife’s burger that is typically loaded with lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, onions, and mushrooms. That thing always becomes a sloppy mess after the first few bites.

I must be insane… I read this thread after skipping lunch

you’re making that up.

no “burger with the lot” comes with avocado.
you must be from a very posh part of Sydney!!

Yes… And make it a double

And I still read it as hamburger. Isn’t the human brain a marvelous thing?

Mayo, pickles, lettuce, at home. I like onion on it too but don’t usually chop one for burgers unless we need the onion for other meals.

At restaurants I take them how they are but usually take the tomato off myself.

Usually swiss cheese, lettuce, tomato, pickle, onion, and mayo. I’ve had many different types of burgers though and will continue to try new ones. A place not far from here makes one with swiss, bacon, and jalapeno jam. I really enjoyed it.

And makes it a bit of a mess. Despite the song above, I like to keep it simple. Cheese, pickles, mustard, jalapeños if I have them.

Yep, there’s a place around here that sells a burger with peanut butter, jalapeno relish, pepper jack, and I think sliced bell pepper or something (its been a while). Just the burger was like $20, so I’ve only ever had one, but it slapped harder than it had any right to.

Yep. The stringy breakfast kind of HB’s though, not “tater tots”.

The Monster Burger from Hardee’s is the only answer.
2 patties, cheese, bacon and mayo.

Nice, simple, heart destroying American goodness.
