This is a funny thread to me. I’m really curious to the intent behind the OP. What are you hoping that people are going to say? It would be an interesting read if people were forced to be 100% honest…but I think many people won’t be because arrogance is one of the most despised character traits and it’s difficult for many people to answer this question truthfully without coming off like an arrogant d-bag.

In the spirit of anonymity and brutal honesty, here goes… There’s nothing I would say that I “really” like about myself but I do like that I’m pretty intelligent and good at a lot of things. I also consider myself a pretty deep thinker. The thing I probably take the most pride in is intellectual honesty and the willingness to change my mind in real time. Of course I would never say any of this in real life and I’m actually not an arrogant person. I guess I’m more answering the question of, “what are your positive character traits that people who know you might say”. I don’t believe in free will so pride doesn’t make a lot of sense in my world view. All my positive and negative traits (and there are many) are just a result of luck. I didn’t choose my parents. I didn’t choose my genes. I didn’t choose the environment I grew up in.

In the spirit of transparency some of my negative characteristics are: I can be cruel. I can be unreliable. I’m not as loyal as I should be. I’ll talk negatively about people but not say it to their face. I lie more than I should. I’m working on it though. We are by no means condemned to be the person we were yesterday.

One last thing that I like…I like that I type about 200 wpm so I can vomit out wall of texts like this quickly. I added this to preempt the criticism that I would spend a lot of time writing this.
