The OP asked what we do, I gave a response to explain what I do. Not my fault if you get your feelings bruised over it so easily.
Am now a writer & artist.

Iām retired now, but I was a university biology professor for 25 years.
I help my Dad run his HVAC/R company which my husband, who I imported from England, also works for. Being Mommy is my main job though.

Itās alright. Iāve been a laborer in construction. Done my share of data entry jobs. Had a period of my life where I couldnāt even hold a steady job, was unemployed and to a large degree unemployable and had to take whatever temp positions I could find because I was trying to figure out how to handle developing bi-polar disorder that runs in my family. Iāve had enough of life pushing my face in the dirt and continually kicking me while I was down to not be sitting here thinking the job I currently have makes me more important or better than anyone else. So Iām not too worried about it.

Civil engineer, essentially a project manager at this point.
I build bridges.
Lots of planning and figuring out how to do it, not to mention getting a hold of the people who can actually do some of the more specialized work.

Atm Iām an undergrad doing a major in comp sci and minor in math.
Only real work I did was at two previous summer internships at a small insurance company in NYC.

Almost exactly the same. Telcos and now building services though. My responsibilities include IT Ops as well as BI.
