I like to do a solo run of ICC every now and then or replay the Worgen intro story.
At times too I’ll make an alt just to relive the simplicity of starting out and questing in Westfall or Darkshire again, building my gold up over time. Recently I made a Forsaken, which I haven’t done in years, but waking up in Deathknell took me way back to the older expansions of the game and I miss that feeling of simplicity in things way back when.
Those were good times. What do you do when you want a hit of nostalgia in WoW?

Honestly getting to do old scholomance again and finally get these shoulders (after doing the stupid quest line and everything and getting them on my paladin in wrath to look cool and just to vendor them for bank space before transmog becamse a thing and didn’t get the appearance) was all the nostalgia surge I needed for a while

Usually start a classic char. At the moment I’m doing island expeditions for mounts and it already feels nostalgic… lol.

Make a fresh character on an era server. The music still gets me

Elwynn has a nice jam going for it. the place itself can suck after many times there. But the soundtrack is nice.

I go back and hit up some old end game zone dailies. It’s almost zen-like to still remember the routes.

I usually run Naxx, or sometimes the old Mists of Pandaria raids.

Earn achievements I have not gotten yet, burn through dungeons on my level 10 Twink characters, play Classic, farm mounts, transmog and some other stuff. Nothing big really.
I hop between WotLK and Retail.
If Blizzard, stupidly, decides to scrap Wrath servers then I will have to find another way to bump my nostalgia.
I honestly got sick of running them over and over, and never getting invincible’s reins to drop lol.
I would love to run the original shadowfang keep from time to time though. But no. I cannot. Blizzard deleted it forever and will never add it back, along with the rest of the original overworld.
Lately I run the raids and stuff for the travelers log mount. But that is all.
Doing TMOG runs in older content, nothing fuels my nostalgia like that.

Level up an original race alt (orc, troll, tauren or Forsaken) or level a DK.
The original race starting experience is a bit different but still good and close enough I still get a hit nostalgia.
The music helps.
